Thread: Post Cu Doctor Template

With the CU htting soon i will get the chance to respec my points and i was wondering what a good complement to doctor was. I was thinking rifles,
but the range is 64m and the doctor healing is not very far. Anyway what would a good template to complement doctor be?

i might try out swordsman/brawler/doctor. you might be able to fit in tkm/swords/doc, which couldkickbutt. most of the docs seem pretty unimpressed by the cu, however. without the chance to go to TC, i can only read opinions and speculate. with cm/doc, i'm not sure how many points you'd have left over..

With my first repsec I'm going to try out 4/4/0/0 CM, 2/4/0/0 Doc and Master Pistols, and the rest of the FS points I can get Jedi Initiate with my banked FXP.
I've tried it out already on TC5, six ways to heal was very useful even without enhancers, Poison, Flames and Pistoleers Attack Control was all very nice.
Seemed fun to me and suits my playstyle. Hopefully I can keep my guildmates alive while applying states and DoT's.

i have 2 Doc templates atm which i both will keep
MDoc/TKM -> will add Master Brawler (1H bleeding DOT and the Master defense bonus)
MDoc/MPistoleer -> will add CM 0400 (giving Fire/Poison/Disease "spells")
the first one i can get with the respec (changing Novice Med + Scout skills to Brawler), for the second one i have to start grinding the CM skills after the CU (i have no elite skills to trade in)

I was Mbrawler, Mdoctor, Mpikeman . I got chewed up and spit out by all equal level mobs its a joke.

I tried out a pistol/cm/doc template last night and got crushed. I was getting rooted/kd'ed then killed very easily. The range on pistols means you have to get in close which resulted in getting agro'ed.
I then took a visit over to the frog and dropped some CM and all pistols and picked up carbines. The extra range helped. Also had a bit better damage output.
If they tone down the roots the PvP in the CU is more fun than Live. It may have been that way because there were so many random people playing and no one really caring about living or dieing. (ie everyone knew there would be no post about how they got crushed on the galaxy forums).

That's a joke is it? Or was the joke the ability to kill everything without having to even try?
Change and adapt... unfortunately for you the game seems to have become more challenging than you can cope with. ![]()

Kind of hard to kite, fire, poison when your a melee doc as he said he was.
Also keep in mind that many creatures have not been retuned and as a result they may have a the same lvl as you but hit a ton harder.

I played as Master Swords, Master TKM, and Master Medic and I owned everyone I dueled and I didn't have a problem with mobs either...............I think its just a matter of picking the right combos (using combos from TKM and vice versa) plus utilizing the rest of your points in the speed aspect of medic and the healing damage line of medic..........
