Before (well now in live) there was little need to have a doctor heal you. A majority has at least novice medic in their build. But in CU you need to be novice doctor to heal wounds. Do you think we will see doctors in Coronet wound healing for money? Or maybe even woudn healing bots?

Well IMHO, I hope there are lines for ANYTHING doctor. I hope there are buff lines, wound heal lines, or anything else, simply because that's what the devs seem to NOT want to see.
The devs seem bent on channeling docs into one set playstyle, combat, and not much else, (the reason for the changes to doc in the CU was because devs would see buff lines, etc).
So I say, let the lines continue!

My personal worry is that we will see Ent/Doc bots in every cantina healing/buffing/inspiring for tips just as we see Ent bots today.
This is one of my biggest pet peevs with med free healing. It opens the door for this type of thing.

Well, it seems obvious that the days of 15k for a buff are over. I think we can all agree on that. Now the question is, do docs have anything worth charging for anymore? I personally think yes, we do, but I can easily see since we require no consumables now, that we would be expected to work for tips (so generally nothing) in the same way as an entertainer.
I was thinking about this the other day, and came up with a rough plan of charging that seemed reasonable:
Damage heal - free. With the any-use stims we have no leverage here.
Wound heals- 2k. Maybe more for greater wounds, less forslighter? I'm assuming a MD will do more wound healing per shot than currently on the TC. If the current system is kept, I can see a need to charge more since it will take a considerable amount of time to heal a greatly damaged patient.
Innoculations - 2k for the full suite.
Buffs - 4k for all three. Again, this will depend on if med droids/BE clothing offer bonuses, or if MDs gain an effect for enhancers.
Hire for party - 10k. This is where I see thereal money coming in - groups looking to hire a doc for a big hunt or battle. All the services listed above would be free to the hirees for the length of the mission.
Also wouldn't hurt for docs to keep a supply of stims on hand for sale.
So this is how I could see a new system of doctor lines working out. I may be a little conservative with the prices, but again, I don't know how to justify heavy costs when we have no overhead anymore. Interested in thoughts or feedback.

Let the players play their PC as they see fit. It's their $15 per month, and as long as they're not cheating in some way, it should be up to them. If they want to try and make a buck in a starport, so be it.

I'm hoping that medical centers will offer a slight bonus to healing/enhancing, so that there will be a need to visit them. Otherwise med centers will be doomed to ghost town existance, except to visit the NPC cybernetic specialists. /sigh

Since much of the new CU appears to be geared toward groups, I can't really see huge demand for Med Center healing. Any group is bound to have a Doc with a med droid. They can just pop out the droid and cast "Heal Wounds" on the injured members between fights.

I would agree with that, assuming that loot will spread out the way it's supposed to. I agree that anon-combatant should not get Nightsister levelloot + a service fee.
I also missed the part about groups being reduced to 8. That should even up the share as well.
I guess we'll see in

I've done support on hunts like that... they pay me 250K-500K to heal states and tank, and I don't get any loot.
It's a cheap way for someone to get x number of krayt pearls, GDK scales, etc, plus I make a bit too.

I wouldn't pay a doc to come hunting with us unless that doc unconditionally passed on all loot drops. 10k was his loot, he doesn't need any more.
