Thread: A possible cause for low-end enhances.

It has come to my attention lately, the its not just the enhance D's that have received this stealth nerf. It is the entire medical system. I have had customers over the past 2 weeks writing me horrifying e-mails complaining that their 445 base Stimpack B's were healing them for an average of 200 points of damage.

If this is true, since the entire buffing system is based off the healing system, this would explain the problems with enhance pack D's.

As part of an experiment, I got my roommate who is a Master BH with Novice Medic skills to try some 445 base B's on himself. To my surprise, the customers were right. He healed himself for an average of 200-400 points of damage per heal.

I think the developers might have inadvertantly changed some coding that makes the healing system work at a percentage of what it did before. When my level D 920 base Enhance pack buffs someone for 600 points, there is a definite problem.

This should be brought to the developers attention as soon as possible. I cant take much more hate-mail for flaws in gaming design.

Cheers.

This is an intersting detail.

It is possible one of the + skills is not being factored into healing... maybe even both.

I'll add this to the thread I ahve going for the devs.

I'm using a 110 Med Use droid and I have +117 Med Use... The lowest I have ever buffed anyone with 0 Battle Fatigue for, with a 799 power Enhance D, is 890.

I only buff lower when the target has a good amount of Battle Fatigue. I'm not quite sure if I'm just lucky, but I haven't hit many problems with Doc so far.

Battle Fatigue. Try wearing clothes with enhancers. I use clothes that add +125 (roughly) and a +125 Droid. I get crappy buffs when I have BF or wounds. (I'm Master Doctor also) So, try hanging out in the cantina, heal your wounds, and see what happens.

I can buff my health +2.5-2.9K with no wounds, no BF, and then have a wound on Stamina, and the buffing power is only like 1.2K.

A low end of 799 is actually not lucky at all but horrible, with a 110 droid and +wound treatment clothes it should be impossible for you to buff below like around 10% of the base of the buff pack... this is infact proof that there might be a problem with the buffing system.

I was sitting in the cantina the other day healing entertainers and I ended up using 2 different stim packs. I started with some 270ish stim Cs and was getting from250 to 600 points of healing. I had to but some stims to finish out some exp and ended up with some 401 stim Bs. I was getting from 250 to 800 on the stim Bs. I am a master medic on my way to doctor, but doctor doesn't add to injury treatment, so it really doesn't matter.

I find it rather disturbing that stims don't even heal there rating. The way the injury treatment skill reads, it is supposed to add to the healing the stim does, not subtract or anything like that. For instance, I have a 400 power stim, with +100 to injury treatment, I should heal 400 to 800 everytime. Why does the 250 to 400range low end healsshow-up? They shouldn't as I have a 400 power stim.

The mod system is totally screwed up. Skills and tools do not effecting healing/wound treatment OR crafting as they should. I get critical failures using a 42 station and a 15 tool with 0% risk. I use high power stims and get the same crap heals I get with crap stims. I put in 4 experimentation points, get a good success, and get the same results as if I had used 1 point.(No kidding I filled up an entire bar, got an amazing success and it went from 19 to 26. I experimented point by point and got the same thing up to 51 with no amazing sucesses.)

The voodoo and stealth nerfingthat exists in the crafting and healing system is absurd.
