I've noticed that if you have a state such as stun or dizzy on yourself, you can't rez others until it either goes away or is healed.

combat maybe....but doesn't sound like it.

Lag...could be but never heard of that much lag....but possible.

State effect....A no brainer sometimes you just don't think about it.

Bad luck..../shrug

Hi,

Tried to ress someone last night, very very nearly did not work.

I was stood over him, using a res pack that hadworked fine 5 minutes earlier.

He was grouped with me.

He was not TEF'd or Overt.

I had the Res pack in my toolbar, & had his sorry corpse targetted.

However, I clicked on it, 10 or more times, to no effect. I then thought he must have cloned, maybe did n't know I could ress. I asked him, in groupchat, if he had. He replied saying no.

I clicked away again, & thankfully up he got.

Was this just (almost unbelievably) the worse lag I've ever seen? Or was something else going on, & has anyone a solution, or similar experiences?

Iam.

I've had the same issue since people have discovered getting DB'ed will rid you of griefer buffs people actually ask to be DBed then rezzed. What I have found so far is that grouping doesn't make any difference and they MUST consent you. once I was consented i was able to res without a problem but not while we were grouped.

Just another warning, consent lists fill up rather quickly for a lot of people, /unconsent is a good thing
