My understanding was medical experimentation only gave you more rolls every +10. Can you give the technical explanation you refer to of how the non +10 points affect experimentation rolls? For example, how does someone with +103 differ than a normal master doctor with +100, or how is +125 different than +120?

Technically, the extra +5 (from +25) would affect experimentation rolls as well... but there is more value in the experimental points (especially considering the price these things go for on most servers).

I think that it MIGHT also assist in improving your chances of getting better success rates. I don't know for sure, but I am guessing that is what he is going from as well. Then again ther is that Med Assembly skill...

What he meant was higher experimentation (should) improve your rolls on each experimentation attempt- that is, more +medical experimentation should give you better odds at getting a good result. Your odds are actually shown somewhere in the interface I believe (was it the risk meter?).
This goes for medical assembly as well except for the assembly phase, as far as I know.
That's not the same as the number of experimentation points though where every +10 just gives you another point.

yah, they got it.. Every + affects a roll someplace. + experimentation does more then give you +1 point for every +10... it also factors into the actuall "how much do I squeeze out of each roll" roll.
The higher your experimental + the less bad rolls you will get on each experiment (you will still fail sometimes though)... you are more likely to see top end rolls rather then middle rolls (more crit sucesses).
So there is a difference bwetween +20 and +25, even though you don't get another point. The bonus is however not probably worth the price that you would have to pay to get it (+ experimentation tapes are very expensive).
So that +20 to experimentation does affect you ability to experiment, not jsut give you more points. More points are always better, so +25 is better then +20, but nobody knows just how much.

Thank you for your explanation. How does medical assembly then work? Does this only apply on the assemby portion of item crafting or does it somehow work for us on every roll?
