How much difference do better tools and better crafting stations actually make, Im only making Enhance C's
at the moment and the resources Im using are not too bad imo, and would just like to know how to optimize them as best I can. (there only for personal and friends use)
I have doc crafting 4 but only a med use of 70 so i have to waste 2 of 10 points getting the med use down,
and I will also be crafting in a research city (+15%) and the best resources I have available.
Please can someone give me some advice on tools and stations, and If anyone can help me out with decent tools and a crafting station let me know
/tell Eerain or (email probably better)

I'm not sure how much of a difference higher quality tools/station make, but I figure it can't hurt, try Caelin's in Mos Luna near Bestine, he does some 14.43 crafting tools and 43.something stations which are pretty good.

They are supposed to help increase your chances of great and amazing successed and reduce your chances of crit fails. (However there is ALWAYS a chance for crit fails.)
Some early experiments suggested that some negative rated stations or tools actually worked better than a postivie rated one. Some further experiementation is going in on that now, though, to see if that may heve been fixed. (No word on when I can let you know the results, though, as it will take some time to do.) In the mentime when it comes to stations I highly reccomend a droid crafting station. Theose things seem to work a LOT better than the private stand-alone stations for some reason.

If you're going to be living in a Research Facility don't worry about getting the best station, as long as it has a 40+ rating you'll be pulling off a ton of amazing succeses with the crafting bonuses. I just moved into one after 3 months of collecting resources and it was well worth the wait.
However every component will cap out in power regardless of a great or amazing success. My general rule of thumb is to max out charges on ABECs so you can get the most out of a set of buffpacks at 25+ charges each. My first crate of d enhancements are using 20/12 ABECS, and after months of hard work and running around I'm aiming for 28 charges, 900 base and 11000+ duration. These packs obviously aren't for sale =)
