Thread: The apron with +5/+5 from Jabba theme park

Hi all!


A guildy recommended that I check out this random reward from the Jabba theme park. As I understand it gives +5 +5 in 2 areas that can help with med crafting. I have other information about this item, but I'm keen to get it! (if it's any use)...


So can anyone tell me what it will do for a doc?

It's a +5 to Med Assembly and +5 to Med experimentation. I'm not sure, but I believe that other skill tapes will stack with this. So with another +5 to Med Experiment you would get an extra Experiment Point (in theory).

and your not garaunteed to get a medical version of it.


There is also a Tailor, Artisan, and Chef apron.


Which one you get as the reward you wont know until you give the schematic to a tailor.

Here is how it works.


1. Do jabba's park. You may or may not get an apron schem. (lets assume you get one)

2. Go find a M. Tailor. Only they can learn the schem. They will then know what kind it is. They will also know what resouces you will need to get to make the apron. Lets assume you get a med arpon

3. The key resouces you will need are (an this is not all of them).

a. Syn cloth. Any M. Tailor will have this. You can also use bio eng cloth if you like.

b. A food factory crate (it has to be undamaged, so you will need a freshly made one)

c. Here is the hard one. Two matching heavy duty leather pieces. These are loot items. Check your trade forums to buy them or your nearest NS to loot them. There is a list of mobs that drop them but I don't recall them all.

d. basic stuff like organic and such that are not hard to get.

4. The schem can make 3 arpons.

Schematics can be traded in the trade window just like anything else.

No, once the schem is learned by the tailor it can no longer traded. It is no longer a schem. It becomes more of a skill they now have.


I even tried giving the tailor a droid with a data pad and they could not put it in it either.

Do the BE cloths increase the assembly/experimentation +5/+5 bonus, or are they adding injury/wound treatment to the assembly/experimentation bonus already part of the apron?




They only add injury/wound treatment. There is no way to increase the assembly/experimentation.


And it can be higher than +15-17treatment. My apron has +24 treatment

yes, 3 uses and then you get a message about it being removed from your datapad and destroyed. I was a master tailor prior to medic/doctor and made 3 of these myself.

I thik it is possible to make up to 9 aprons from 1 schematic. If you can get sets of 8 matching heavy duty leathers you can use the schematic and 2 leather to make another schematic, then use that and the 6 remaining leather to make 3 aprons. Then you still have 2 uses remaining on the original schematic

No it does n't - you need +10 experimentation to get an extra point, +20 to get two extra, which is the max.


I've got +21 atm - can anyone clarify if there's any point getting to +25 ?


As regards the aprons, they are really nice - have one myself.


Something to be wary of tho, for people inetending to get to +25 total, is the clothing slot they occupy. I believe it to the cloak/duster/jacket slot. I for one can't wear a cloak with my apron, can wear a belt, a shirt, trousers, with it.


Why is this important? Well, if you get med exp tapes don't drop them in a cloak - if you do, either they or your apron is wasted as you can't wear both together.


Also, don't drop med experimentation tapes in the apron (sorry if this has been mentioned before) - it has 4 sockets, but tapes don't stack - the higher cancels the lower. If you go sticking a plus 4 med exp tae in your apron, you'll not get it to +9 - you'll be stuck on +5, & will have wasted the +4 tape.
