Thread: What 'is' buffing stats out of order.

Okay, I 'have' to ask this. Though, I'm a master doctor, I use the profession primarily for the benefits of those I travel with. So, though I do 'buff', I don't sit outside the starports and sell buffing services. So, I am admitedly unfamiliar with the ins and out of buffing for the public.
But this line I found, oddly enough, in the ID forum on pet peeves, left me a little puzzled:
Doctors that buff stats out of order. Oh…did you mean related to ID....
Then a second quote following it:
And Doctor's that don't buff in order should be shot!
So, I'm thinking I've missed something. I've been playing for quite a long time, and I've 'never' heard of this. Of course, I don't sell buffs to the public, so I assumed this is why I'd not heard of it.
I searched the boards, but couldn't find any reference to it, so I was wondering if my fellow doctor's knew what this was about?
Is their some 'detriment' to buffing out of order, or is it simply an annoyance? I'm guessing it's just a peeve? If so, what's the 'standard' orderfor buffing? I buff in this order:
health, action, then the 4 secondaries. (Strength, Constitution, Quickness and Stamina)
So I'm crurious.

It's not the order you apply the buffs to a customer that is the issue. It's the order in which some doctors buff customers. Someone with an offer of a big tip cutting in line, and such.

Yea it's more than likely that, it's chaos when you are selling buffs. Doc on our server has a great way to handle it. A bank tip gets you in line and he takes the order from his email. It never changes and in my opinion is the fairest way to handle it.
It keeps you sane while keeping track and people know they won't get cut off by some big tipper.

he is getting ripped off most likely...read some of the other posts about bank tips...if you don't have a last name, there is no way of knowing if the person just sent you an email...ie a fake bank tip...if they have a last name, it shows up on legit bank tips, and not on fake email tips, but if they do not have a last name, there is no way of knowing...if you have a bunch of people standing in line all tipping you it is impossible to tell which bank tips are real and which are fake
