Which do you do/prefer?
I ALWAYS use avian/reactive in my action, same as the others, so I get matching duration/power on all six buffs.
I just like having all my buffs match.

With the ability to overwrite buffs now it doesnt really matter.

To me it does, and always will. I guess that's a good point, but eh, I like them all to match, must be ocd.

I usually have different kinds of organic/inorganic so I can match more or less the duration of the others and still get more power, because I want to save the meat. But now really I don't care anymore as I can just refresh them anytime, and I don't sell buffs.

I do the same thing...I don't know why, but the same power and duration just seems more appealing to me.

I tend not to factory make Buffs (just components).
I charge by the point, so I always make the best Actions I can.. sometimes that is using same materials, sometimes it is not.. I don't search specifically for Action-only materials though.

I too always use all avian/reactive. It just looks better hitting 6 stats for all the same duration & enhance. By comments I think the general buffed public likes it too.

With the prices of avian on Gorath, I never use it in action. I have some really high quality organic (993 OQ 900+ PE) and 1000 OQ inorganic... makes 953 power, which I figure is good. Using avian would lower that about 50 points at least, unless I had some uber avian. Cheaper to go with other stuff for me, and I get better results.

This happened to my roommate today:
2200/3 2200/3 2200/3 2500/1.5 2200/3 2200/3
He goes to hunt, no doctors around, forgets his action is shorter, gets killed, gets his stuff decayed.
Sure, rebuffing is fine if you are a doctor or in a group with one, but what if you aren't? What if you are in the middle of Dath soloing ER's and all the sudden you have a 345 action bar?
You die.
Then you pay 10k to get rebuffed AGAIN even though you should have another 90mins of buff left from the first 10k you paid.
There are lots of opinions on this, but I used to tip 15-20k a buff if they matched, so as a Doc I make mine match.

I'm the same way, it makes more sense, though. I hate to be out hunting and then want to head back for a new set of buffs to hunt with, and have to sit around for a half hour while the action wears off. It's not like the higher action serves that much purpose except on extremely isolated occasions. Or the situation above would suck too, having to rebuff one stat way earlier than the others, or having it wear off early and you dying as a result.

Same here. The inorganic I use is 1000 OQ and the organic is use is OQ 999 PE 998. I would have to have perfect avian to replace this combo.

I wouldn't say it's the doc's fault if he died but yes a 1.5 buff is a rip off. In any case, most people using something else in action buffs usually get 3 hours at least in it I think.
