It depends if duration is important to you or not. I figured out the numbers with the new Avian (number 1) using a Gas with 936 OQ and 884 DR. The duration comes out right abuot 9500 which is right at 2.5 hours. The power would be amazing though. You'd be able to experimentit to about95%, but the value would depend on your components.


On number 2, the duration would be about 11900, which is about 3 hours and 20 minutes using the same gas I used above. You'd still be able to get the power experimented to about 87%.


So it really comes down to if you want 50 more minutes or 60-70 more power.

As a doc, I'd personally want a little of both, just to keep the customers happy.


I try very hard to make a set of "PvP" buffs, that are usually setup to be a lot stronger (but don't last as long). I have some 1k oq gas (only around 290 dr) that I use specifically for that purpose. I sell them as PvP only packs, because they only last 2.4 to 2.5 hours, but the strength is much higher (I can pull off a 930 pack no problem with that stuff).


As for which I'd use in my janta packs, damn, that's a hard call. If I only had those 2 avians to choose from, I think the temptation to get an 1100 pack together would be too great and I'd go with avian meat #1.


In general though, most every doc will want that 2nd avian meat. The DR adds to the duration, thus making it overall a more decent meat.

I'd go for #1 but I'm in it for the Buff. I almost always end up getting bored before a 2.5hour or longer buff wears off.

I'd harvest as much of both as i could.


I would use #2 for my current stuff, and save #1 for when I get some reactive gas with a high DR to balance out the horrible DR on the meat.

Two very good versions of Avian Meat have spawned on my server recently. And I cannot decide which is better:
