my droid is named "buffs-ten-thousand-cr"
so every minute I get one of those:
"how much for a buff ?"
"how good are your buffs ?"
my yesterday's favorite:
some dude were spamming during 5 minutes, any doc selling buffs ? I'll pay ! before finding out I was buffing and advertising for...

I remember back in the days I was quite new/poor, I wanted a buff to go run missions, but I only had like 4 or 5k so I asked the doc if he could just wait for me to finish the first mission, so he would get the $$$, and that was great, but now those dudes only want the cheap buff, and never propose any payback, even tho it was on dantooine, where getting 8 or 10k out of a mission is very easy...
or overts are cool, can u buff me ? I'm overt.
most understand the fact that I'm not even close to master rifles, so they arecool with it, but, some just get pissed off and... finish on my ignore list
Overts are some of the best customers. The are:
1. in a hurry so there are no squabiling.
2. Have the cash
3. Pay extra for danger fee
4. Hang out to gard.
5. Are helping your cause since you can only buff overts of the same faction.

Now, unless I'm friends with the person (in which case, everything is free--usually) I expect full payment in credits or resources up front. Not so much funny as I could've predicted the outcome from a mile away:
I was out on Dathomir today just sitting in the cantina whena guy with a CDEF pistol comes in and, in the middle of a crowded cantina mind you, starts asking me for money because I had my master doctor title up.I say no and he continues to pester me. Eventually I asked him how someone in need of money afforded a ticket to Dathomir and he said that "some guy" gave him the ticket.
I ask him if he'd like to harvest the current spawn of meat and make money for me that way as I do not give handouts; he sits there for awhile and then eventually just goes LD realizing that he will actually have to work for his money.
I seemto always forget thatthe master doctor tag means thatI'minstantly rich; I must've missed out on the automatic100 million credits we get at master.
yeah thats true, when i have my master doc title on. it takes about 10 seconds people asking for money or free buffs. Once i met some members ofmy pa in the theed cantina, i get a tell "pls tip me money", i asked him for what, and he replies "for being here".
