Thread: which med Skill Tapes actually work?

I'm mainly interested in the medical crafting apron that has +5 assembly and +5 experimentation. Does it actually work? and will it still add up to a Master Doctor's skill mods ? is it useful for a Master Doctor? I'd like to know before I spend over a million on it.

Count me as one of the curious as well...these aprons are brutally expensive but the bump in assembly and expirementation is sweet.

The aprons do work. They add to your medicine experimentation and medicine assembly mods. The experimentation bonus does count toward the +10 needed for an extra experiment point (or +20 need for 2 points). The skill tapes that do not work, and never will, are the medicine use and combat medicine use tapes.

Can you confirm there is no way to increase the medicine use with a tape or something else ? Even 1 additionnal point (from 90 to 91) would be a great help :-)

On a side note to this: On the shadowfire trade forums, I witnessed an argument: I have +25 med use tapes, so i can heal people. No, no i dont have medic skills. What do you mean I dont have access to the /healdamage /healwound commands! CrapI just wasted a few mil. No your joking, I have a friend that got so many tapes that he can buff people and doesnt have any doc skills either!
