Dangit, I can't find any info on this. I heard a rumor that a toon with their FS enabled that is also a doc can cap out at 14 experimentation points?! Does anyone know anything about this, or can point me to the appropriate place?

I couldn't care less about being a Jedi, but another two experimentation points might actually make the hassle worth it.....

Apparently they changed the description of the force sensitive skills. Now it indicates increased chance of success rather than additional experimentaiton points.

Yeah that would have been rediculous. Probably would not help us docs much since I can cap out most things with 12 points, but an armorsmith would kill for 14 points

I'd kill for the ability to put more points into BEC power, and more points into the buff pack charges

Yeah it would be nice, but I didn't like the system much either, it would make too much a difference between a 10 pt crafter and a 14 point one. But the idea of getting amazing successes more of the time is pretty exciting too.

Yeah I think that is part of the reason they changed it. Also, can you imagine how godly armor could be? 70% base AND ultra-low encumberance. Not what they want to have coming out with the combat rebalance I am guessing.

Thanks very much for the info, everyone

At least it makes the decision easy for me. For 14 experimentation points, I'd go through the BS to unlock, but not for increased experimentation success. MHO

The only problem I'd have with more points is that it would widen the gap between crafters, and not many would buy from the 10-point masters. More amazing successes is a nice bonus though
