Hi, I made doc a while ago but only recently I started making my own packs. My problem is this: when I got about 3-4 more points to experiment, power still goes up but duration stays the same, as if it's capped. I know it's related to the meat and gas DR, but is it also related to the sub-components ? And yes, I read the FAQ, it's not like the experiment succeeds on power, but fails on duration, because I've done it quite a few times with the same result. So, what's up with that ?

There are formulas that let you determine exactly what your duration will be. The formula goes like this:
1200 plus the product of
[(Av DR x 60%) + (AvOQ x 40%) + (Gas DR x 60%) + (Gas OQ x 40%)] x 6.5
So you can calculate exactly what your duration should be.
When I'm experimenting, duration always gets to the max before power does. And even when power comes up short of the maximum (there's another formula for that), duration always hits the max.
I will 99.995% guarantee you that you are getting the max duration for your resources, it's just that duration is getting to its max first.

nope
duration is pretty much 100% dependant on the DR and OQ of the meat and gas
Subcomponents only affect the power and charges
