We spend too much time sitting around and buffing, it's not worth the profit when buffing for 10-13k. We should all be charging 15k for buffs no matter the power, unless its like 2500+, then you should be charging more. And we should also be charging 40k+ for the express buff line. This way we make our time spent buffing, worth the profit!

If you're going to make a post like this, it belongs on your galaxy's forum. Since you put it here though, I'll comment anyway. Buffs are worth whatever the market determines them to be worth. All this discussion over buff prices is pointless. People will pay what they think buffs are worth to them and doctors will charge whatever they think people are willing to pay. It's called a free market system, and it's a good one.

I disagree. Each buff pack on Bria cost around 100k-120k. Lets say that these buff packs have around 20 uses/buff (which is not really true considering that mostly comercial buffs have around 30 uses), thats about 6k a buff. If you really want to be evil, 100% profit is good so there is 12k. If you use Bivoli, then charge 1k more (rough calculation that I use with current market cost for Bivoli and that I suppose i buff around 3 people per use which is around 14m average) then you would charge 13k. That is more than enough. Sitting around and buffing is not the most fun thing in the world, but we accepted such a task when we went Master Doc and decided that public buffing is what we wanna do.
I get buff packs that have around 30 uses per buff, doing the math it only cost me around 5k with bivoli, again 100% profit I would only charge 10k/buff. Lets say you buff 30 people per hour, thats an easy 300k/hour. Now thats 180k profit total per hour after cost! If you make your own buffs (which i do most of the time), thats a lot more profit!!
I have read a lot of post regarding this and i keep insisting that prices must be kept low. I was thinking of starting a new guild dedicated to doctors that are willing to set fair prices and help each other out to get the resources we would need to make the buff packs or make our own, sell them to the members for at a low price and then we can buff without any problems.
Would anyone be interested in that endevour?

You can always tell the new Docs from the old ones
"Prices need to be low!"
"No, prices need to be higher!"
"I'm getting undercut by the Doctor beside me!"
"Why would you pay that much for Avian meat?! I'd never pay that!"
"OMG - I can't believe what <insert offending Doctor's name here> is doing! He/she is ruining the economy!"
"Oh ya, I'll show you. I'll give my buffs away for free and ruin it for everyone!!11one!!!" (actually, that one is my personal favourite)
etc.
etc.
Then, after a couple of months, they come to the same realization as the rest. But hey, that's all part of the journey.
To the original poster, you can try all you like, but you cannot set prices. You're not the first to try it and you won't be the last. Pricing levels are set organically based on the current dynamics of the economy - and material costs. They cannot be forced no matter how hard you campaign to do so. This goes the same for trying to create buying co-ops.
To me, 20Kis a fair price when you compare it to other ways of generating revenue - but that's my opinion. I personally don't buff the public anymore because I didn't see it as a good use of my time for enjoying the game. To go through all the effort of harvesting, manufacturing and then buffing - then barely breaking even as suggested by others, I see it as a waste my real life money I pay every month to play the game. When I do occassionaly buff,it's always priced
on the high end
That being said, everyone is free to charge whatever they want.
It is now starting to be funny with all these claims of "you can't do that" or "no one will buy it" or "no one will pay for it". The simple fact is ... you CAN do it, players WILL buy it, and players WILL pay for it. If pricing was truely the key decision factor in the economy, why is it that there are Docs charging 50K to cut in line. Or that players will pay multiple millions of credits for :::gasp::: furniture adhesive!! Do you think those Docs would continue offering that priceif they weren't getting business?
Pricing isn't the only factor in the buying decision - as soon as everyone begins to realize that simple little truth, you'll start seeing less posts about pricing.
Set your pricing strategy, stick with it and enjoy the game. You'll get a lot of business - trust me on that.
