I read somewhere that for buff packs you should use all your experiment points on charges rather than power for BEC's
Can anyone clarify if this is true and does it make a big difference?
Thanks

Yes max out the charges line for ABEC's. The additional charges that it gives in the buff pack far outweights the extra 3-7 power boost in the base of the pack.
What would rather have 31 charge/900 base or 26 charge/910 base packs?

I'm a big fan of charges. This is the best way to conserve your precious avian meat (and herbivore, for that matter).
It really depends on your preference, though. If you're going to peddle your meds, then some of your customers will want the extra power to give them bragging rights in the starport when theybark out their annoying spam.
If you're making them for yourself ... then go charges all the way (my preference). If you're selling them, then it's really up to your customers.

I make my buffpacks for sale to doctors and I always experiment aBECs for charges. The reason I do it is firstly because it makes the best sense for the med, and secondly my pricing structure is a set amount of credits per dose. Every extra charge that I can get is another X credits per pack in my pocket.
I think my customers also like the idea that they know with my packs that they know up front what their buff cost per patient will be. Of course, I make the best quality packs that I can (870s in power at the moment on Flurry). Waiting for another really good avian spawn...

Charges....
You get a lot more charges per point of experimentationin ABECs than power. Remember that the UT of your fiberplast is an important factor when experimenting for charges.
