Hi, I decided to try something different and give doctor a try.
I am a Novice Doctor at the moment.

How do I heal peoples black areas of their HAM bars? Is it by using the Health Wound Medpack etc? It seems to take ages that way!
Does the quality of medpacks effect the speed/affectivness of the heal?

The black areas on peoples HAM bars, are indeed wounds. To heal the Health, Action, Stamina, Strength, Quickness and Constitution wounds (the severtiy of which can be assessed using the /diagnose command obtained at Novice Medic) you must use the corresponding Wound Pack. The quality of the woundpack (it's power attribute, generally) will determine the amount of wounds healed in a single application. The speed at which you can use woundpacks, though, is determined by your "Wound Treatment Speed" skill, which you increase by going up the left-hand line of Doctor.
