Well I have been a Master Doc/Master Sword forever. It's fun PvE. But slowy PVE is getting boring.
I'm thinking of a bit more PvP. As I am usually healing wounded in battles, by the time I get up to the front lines, the rebs..well they're Dead Jim..
I'm thinking I need a ranged componet to my gameplay.
So I was thinking of
Master Doc
Sword 3-0-0-0
and Rifle 4-0-0-4.
My question do I just go rifle all the way? I like those Sword 3-0-0-0 defense against mods when the rebs get close. Not sure if I should drop em.
Thoughts?

I found Doc/Swords a very strong PvE template. The only thing it lacked was state defesnses. However, in PvP, it sucked. You are very susceptible (sp?) to KD/Dizzy/P-down..etc and unless you have the speed SEA's, you are not very fast with the uber hammers. So, I changed to TKM/Doc. TKM's have a bit more toughness, and a lot more defenses. Plus you tack on meditate/powerboost to it. With good armor (70%+) i have tanked 3 krayts for my PA. I tank NS elders with ease, tank SBD"s in the vette (well, not so well, lotta stimming goin on there..lol..they hit toooo damn hard).
In PvP, i am much more viable. I have better defenses, faster attacks, more state attacks. I am no longer the one doing damage, but absorbing it. I am there to cure/heal...not make the other docs work.
The only prof that scares me is a rifleman who knows how to kite and owns a 450+ jawa rifle. I have gone 10 min in a duel vs a Jedi, killed a couple others. I have had a 20 min duel with dot wh0re wielding 1500 point poison dots. TKM/Doc is the tank. A very hardy, not too easily hit, curing tank that will ruin dot wh0res and CM's day.
Think about it. I miss the swordsman for PvE..but was bad by itself in PvP.
