My current template is Master Swords, 4304 CM, and Novice Doc (state heals). I've come to hear that the second line in CM is useless unless you want heal mind, so I wanted to pick up 3000 Doc for poison and burn heals. I'm thinking about dabbling in 3000 Doctor but have come to realize that I might not even be able to use the skills it provides because of the med use on the packs, I have 55 med use and am seeing that the burn cures are 60+ med use. So my questions are:
- Can poison cure C's or Area cure B's, fire blankets be crafted at 55 med use?
- If not, what cures, if any, can I use at that level? (PVP wise) cure a's, b's?
- Also, say I can use A's or B's is it even useful to have? (PVP wise) *Does it work like bleed? Like newbie medics take a lot longer to heal bleeds than Master Docs do*
Thanks for the replies! Much appreciated!

In CM, you are correct. Take the whole speed line to get mind heal or take none of it at all. The Dev's broke the speed and range formulae with the last round of CM "fixes."
Dunno about the rest of your questions as I just took up doc again and am working with the meds I stashed in the bank 6 months ago. 55MU fireblankets can be made, but the rori fungus I made them with needed stats like 985 oq / 975 PE or something like that alon with 995 oq aluminum. It can be done, but it requires very high quality resources that may not have shown up an all servers.

As Pahdbacca said, Fire blankets can get down to 55 MU, but it takes excellent resources. (not quite as good as those listed, but pretty good nonetheless.) I'd check with a few docs on your server before switching to this template, as these are possible on most, but (as far as I know) not all servers.
At 3-0-0-0 Doc you'll be using single-target Cure As -- nothing else. Area cures cannot be experimented for ease of use, and a cure B experimented down to 55 comes out worse than a cure A experimented for power.
How much they'll cure depends on whether curing works off of the injury treatment or wound treatment skill -- I can't for the life of me remember which one it is though (I know it's the injury treatment *timer*, so I would think it's also that skill... but then I'm not a developer).
I do remember, anyway, that a Master Doc will cure an amount of poison equal to just over 2x the listed effectiveness of the cure... So, if it works off of injury treatment, a 3-0-0-0 doc would have the same modifier... If it works off of wound treatment, of course, you'd be at a bit of a disadvantage.
I've never tried 3-0-0-0,but I have had a number of customers over the months that had similar skills (2-000, 4-000) -- I believe the consensus is that if you're going that route, you should probably invest in Janta packs (which will have ~83 more power than normal, factory-produced packs -- a huge difference in something that is normally in the 200-300 power range...).
Hope that helps.

It works off of neither. The cure effectiveness works against the effectiveness rating of the poison. If the poison was applied by a master CM, that's equal to half the damage done each tick. Because the cure works against the poison's effectiveness before the CM's effectiveness modifier is taken into account, it appears to work off a +100 modifier, but in fact, they don't. This is only for single cures. Area cures work directly against the damage done by the poison (a 300 cure will remove 300 damage from the poison's tick). Area cures are not affected by a treatment modifier either.

Thanks for the replies!
So, what would be the general recommendation?
It is possible to make 55 med use blankets, so I should pick it up if I can find a good supply.
But what about the Poison Cure A's? How does that work, I'm a bit confused, are they worthy for PVP?
Thanks again!

You should check with a crafting doc on your server about the fire blankets. Not every server has had good enough Rori fungus to make them. Cure A's will work against a CM, but it will take several applications to remove one poison/disease. If you get a doc to craft you some with Janta blood, that would help. Basicaly, they will work, but you'll have a hard time keeping yourself DoT free.
