Thread: How come when I buff myself, buffs are greater

Only mastered doc on Sunday but here is my question
pre-requisite
Master Doc
Bio-clothers (+50/+50)
Bivoli - Now i finally know what it does regarding buff boost
Power of Buff - 907
Step 1 --> Result
Buff myself --> Increased stats by 2732
Step --> Result
Buff another --> Increased stats consistently to 2480 (note even on chars with BF of zero)
Question why stats increase greated when buffing myself?

You might have been in a Medical City when you buffed yourself. They add to the power of all heals, including buffs.

yeah, going by the stats, looks like you were in a medical city..
unless twi'leks get power increases aswell, but im sure thats just duration they receive a bonus on

the medical city thing or the twilek thing?
i know for sure they get longer duration on buffs

I am a twi'lik and I am a doctor...we get duration bonuses, no power bonuses. If both BF's were below 250, you must have either been in a medical city for your buff, or buffed your friend with a dead droid inside a player house/cantina/med center.

Yep, they certainly do. Seems like it's a percentage wise thing though. Which always enp up increasing the buffs for 20-30 min more.
Probably something to do with their Skill mods as a specie. No one knows for sure though.

heh character is a zabrak not tweelik. Not sure if medical centre but I will check.
can anyone tell me also :-
A) I have bought buff sets with power 910, what values are the enhancements
B) I also bought a total of +50/+50 wound bonus for bio clothes
whats the maximum u can achieve. Currently value is :- 150 for wound bonus
C) I have 4 sets of 8 Janta Blood which can be used for advanced biological controllers , does every thing else have to be perfect to get best buffs possible or can they be average or better ie Advanced Solid Del,

It should get you a 2500 buff with 110 bot, +25 BE Clothes and +25 Biv.

Wound Treatment on BE Clothes caps at +25. So you don't need more than that.

Not sure of what you meant with this question here, but if you're using Janta Blood you should always try to assemble them with the best resources and subcomponents available. You'll be hand-crafting them, so depending on the stats of the bloods you got andif you happen to have 900+ OQ and PE avian and 900+ OQgas you can get packs with 1000+ power. For subcomponents, always look for the best too ... ASDS and ACRDM caps at around 75 power. So try to get your hands on something as higher as you can. Looted exceptional ASDS and ACRDMs do exist (normally their stats are double the normal) but they are VERY rare to find.

The blood should be used with the best possible resources you can find, unless they are above average bloods, you dont get many uses at the cost of the power increase, also be sure if you craft with Janta blood that you use Bespin Port, this allows for more success while experimenting, also Polly Cake, this food allows you to have less chance of failing on assembly of the blood, or any crafting. Research City's also give nice bonus' when experimenting, not to be mistaken for Medical cities, research gives a bonus to crafters in general, medical is for healing properties.

oh and next time you reply to this post, please post your findings when you buffed another person.. make sure you check their bf isn't higher then 250!!!!
