Kinda reminds me of the days when Doctors were rare in the first couple months of Shadowfire, and I would hang out in the Med Center with Master Doctor up [this was when buffs were bugged and no one wanted them, so keeping the tag up w/o losing your sanity was still possible] and knocking out wounds 300-400 at a time, and everyone was so grateful for it.

I remember the first time I got a buff. I was like "holy cow!" I had thought it would boost me a little bit, but it tripled my HAM! Good times....

After buffing the health stat I had one guy run from me yelling "your killing me, STOP!!!". Oh, man, I could not stop laughing. It took about 10 more tells to explain it to him.

I remember a story once told about a Doctor who gave a guy a buff and was told by the guy that he was getting reported for 'ruining' his stats.

Ah, I miss the days when no one knew what buffs were...

haha, yeah the first time i got buffed i was with my 2 friends, who had only been playing for like a month, me for like a week. and i was in line and he asked for 10k and i was like, HOLY GOD, I don't have 10k!!!! and my friend paid it for me and I thought i was gonna be in debt forever....

edit... i just remembered this

i was in coronet last night delivering some auction goods, and i got pestered by some people (luckily i was at the bank terminal) for some buffs, and i got em taken care of. i was about to leave when this noob came up and asked "Can you buff?" like not asking for a buff, asking if i was able to do that to begin wth. I replied "yes" and she asked "how much?" i said 15k (3hrs 38mins for 2500 so you dont flame me), and she said "oh, i dont have that much, i've just never had one before." and i was like.... OOOO A NEWB!!! so i /examine and no badges, no guild, nada. Well, she WAS a rebel so she was either an second character who was bright or really a noob.I was like "ok discount for the rebel noob, and i buffed her" and she was like "OMG! thank you so so so much"

i was like.... "yeahhh....."

haha, maybe i AM god

First time I got buffed (from some random doctor who was running around and buffing to get experience, I imagine), I thought it was absolutely ridiculous, and vowed to never get a buff like that again. Sadly, I slid on that vow when I decided to go rancor hunting with some friends. That was the first (and hopefully last) doctor buff I intentionally got. Just my opinion...

I'll never forget how excited I was when I first made an enhance pack that was over 650 and lasted over 2 hours. My guildies were jokingly saying that I needed to be nerfed.
