Thread: IS THERE A WAY TO GET 900+ ON BUFF PACKS WITH MASTER DOCTOR

I'm an 11 point master doctor, is there a way to get +900 (without janta blood of course), I don't want to use experimentation points onthe bio effect controller because I like charges, I also have very good resources,also how many charges do you get if you don't experiment on charges for the bio effect controller and does the power create a big increase on base if you experimented on power alone?

How good are your very good resources. In order to get over 900 on you packs youll need avian with atleast 925 OQ, maybe a bit higher, and decent PE, as well as gas well over 900 OQ. Your subcomponents, while having some effect on the overall power of the buff, really dont affect them that much, so always experiment you ABECs for charges.

Ok...just say I didn't experiment on charges at all then how many charges would I be short than if I did experiment all on charges?

Depends. If you use a P16C20 ABEC (which is about the best we can do on tempest) vs a P20C16 ABEC youll be short 4 charges.
Its unfortunate that players at large believe there is huge difference between getting an 890 power buff and getting a 910 power buff, because they're really isnt, but if you see someone buffing in coro, the person with those extra 200 points of power always has the longer line.

What the hel* is aP16C20 ABECand a P20C16 ABEC? What is difference?

My advice is for you to read the Doc FAQ. There are links there that answer many, many buff crafting questions.
In the end I suggest writing down these equations:
Power =0.75 * (OQavian + PEavian + OQgas)/3 + the sum of the powers on all the subs + 40
Duration = 6.5 * (0.4 * OQavian + 0.6*DRavian + 0.4 *OQgas + 0.6 * DRgas) + 1200
These equations assume you are experimenting the power/duation line first and that you have enough experimentation points to max the line out.

As to your question on ABEC, charges add directly to you packs, if you make a basic bio effect say 8 charges, youll have 17 or so carges on your packs, not worth the few extra points in power. A pack of only 800 base is more than sufficient in most cases, of course 850-900 is preferable, the max you can experiment up is determined by OQ(PE) for power, you will need top end stats to get 900+, your sub components will add a maximum of 177 asuming you dont go for power on the ABEC, expect an average of 140ish off the components, the rest will come from your gas and avien.

As previously stated, it's resource based... with what I'm using I made 54 sets of 912s, expirementing on charges of ABECs before power, but I'm also a 12pt'r... you should still be able to break 900 with good resources tho. Just takes time to collect.
