Here is how you can tell for you self.

Power from avain = 0.76 * (oq + pe)/3

Duration from avian = 6.5*(0.4*oq + 0.6*dr)

So for these two meats

Orbef: power is 459 and duration is 4979

Kracite: power is 406 and duration is 5388

So the difference between the two is 53 in power in favor of Orbef and 409 seconds in favor of Kracite.

Most folks are willing to give up 409 secs to gain 53 in power so they will pick Orbef.

The other thing to remember is the relative quantity harvested. For example, if the first one was spawning on Rori and the second was spawning on Lok it would be a no-brainer which one I would send my hunters after.

Avian is easiest to collect in large quantities on Lok, Dathomir andYavin.

Talus, Naboo, and Corellia aren't bad for me, but some hunters will turn their nose up at these unless you offer a premium.

Rori and Tatooine are the hardest (in my opinion) - a good spawn on these planets is almost a wasted spawn...

while on Flurry, don't visit Ojes Yobe's Liquidation Vendors just 800M from Theed starport on Naboo (neg5219 3419) - cause they ain't there anymore! They are now exclusively located in Mos Athens Mall

really depends on what you're making it for.

Buffs for PvP or harder, high-end stuff like NS or DWB...then Orbef would be a bit better to squeeze what power you can out of your resources.

For general PvE ....i'd rather use longer buffs even if they're a bit weaker because the added power gives me no benefit, whereas i benefit from the extra time.

as most want power, probably the first, but both are pretty decent.

but mostly depends on market and some doc's wallet. hehe.
