Thread: Ninja Nerf of Buffs? (behind the scenes)

There has been plenty of talk about buffs getting nerfed once the so called "Combat Upgrade" comes out. Anyone feel that a Ninja Nerf has been performed already to prepare us for this? Let me elaborate... when is the last time that anyone can remember that afreaking descent spawn of ANY resources that docs can use has spawned? If you are a SWG doctor and feel that you have been mistreated, please contact Cajun' and join your local SWG M.D. Union today! 'Before you accept a quick check, check with me!'

Come on, it has always been like this. That's the fun part of it really. So just be patient and there will be a descent spawn for you. In the mean time use what there is or take a vacation

tbh, i think your paranoid.
From Flurry point of view, there seems to have been a bunch of great doc resources recently.
i only just took down my flora miners off some 950+ berries, and 984 oq Dolovite spawns.. Prior to this there were a couple other things. One was super dooper steel.. and something else, i forget.. but i have not had any free lots available for atleast 2 months.
Currently there are two great spawns of herbivore /shrug just think your server must be having a dry spout.

Shadowfire just had THREE, count em THREE awesome spawns of avian meat. At the same time! (Dath, Yavin4, and Rori) The yavin meat was the highest power ever and makes 935/3hr buffs, while the dath meat makes 910/3:40 buffs.We alsogot some 992OQ aluminum and the second best ever spawn of Rori Fungus. And a great spawn of Endor herbivore meat (900ishOQ/600ish PE). So you can blame SOE's borked random number generator, and not some kind of silent nerf meant to spoil your fun.

Meh, I think your just being parnoid as well. Good spawns will come and most servers go through quaility resource droughts, esp with avian meat. I do however think that avian drops are purposely small inorder to attempt to keep buff supplies limited, but that just results in ppl harvesting good spawns like possessed people.

you still want to duel in game you sent the tell to di'sel when i made it quite clear it was me who posted (bogiex') but hey it was an accident as you told di'sel....

Spawns are random and vary from server to server. If you are curious go to SWGCraft.com and see the godly avian meat we just had spawned on Gorath
Sometimes a server may have a dryspell, othertimes you might get so many good spawns at once it can be hard to keep up.
I remember going AGES without a good (or any) spawn of Class 4 liquid petro then all of a sudden we got like 3 in a row.

Valcyn trumps Flurry and Shadowfire. We've had FOUR awesome avian spawns right after one another. The last three are actually still in shift. Nobody knows which one to hunt because all three have similar numbers (900's in OQ and PE, 600ish DR).
The devs actually covered this question way back at Fan Fest in the medics forum. They have no control over resource spawns. It is completely random.

Guess you haven't heard about Lowca's doctor resource chrisis back in May-July, for as long as 108 days we lacked decent class 4, avian and tat fiberplast and even the best crafting doctor at the time being (aka Ironlung) was making 864 packs. THAT's how bad it was.
This will happen from time to time randomly on each server, I wouldn't speculate it as a ninja nerf.
