Hi Folks,
What is the difference between poison and diseasecures A B and C? I think I have always used As and Bs and they have always had the desired effect without me needing to reapply the cure. So what would be the point of crafting Cs?

My understanding:
C cure packs would no doubt have a higher effectiveness, which basically means that it would be able to cure higher level poisons/diseases. If a CM applies a poison/disease with XXX potency, your cure pack effectiveness needs to be higher than said potency. In truth, you may find that A or B cure packs are enough for standard poisons/diseases, but if you are a master Doc you might as well be prepared for the worst.

Doc cures check against a poisons effectiveness.
Doc resists check against a poisons potency.
Do a search on the CM proff forums...there are multiple threads there comparing poisons and diseases vs Doctor cures.

Yep listen to Pip he knows
If you are a doctor that never does PvP A and B packs are probably all you'd ever need.
If you go out with PvP groups I would not use anything less than a C pack or you may get in those situations where you will have to apply the cure to yourself a few times to get rid of just one poison and in that time the next one could have landed on you already.
