Thread: False Buff Times?

Hi im not sure if anyone has had this problem but i recently got buffed and about 2.5hours when by ( about a 3 hour buff) and checked how many mins i had left it was about 30 mins left..i was fighting no more than 5 minutes and my buffs went off...

Did all of them drop at the same time or just some of them? Did you check the times for all buff stats, or just one? You may have been hit with varying buff times, some shorter than others. There are a few Docs that don't seem to think it's important to use packs that are at least close in duration to each other, this may be what happened to you.

They were different times. but they all seemed to drop all at once.

hey I got this problem twice and all the buffs had the same time, once in combat having 10 minutes in the buffs I was sure I could kill the npc by that time but at 8minutes the buffs fade away so I end up running, the second time I was in a cantina waiting for the buffs to fade and they fade with 10 minutes still the timers.
I think that the lag slows down the timer in our ui to the point where the timer in the server is not the same.

The buff times are tracked in two separate places. On the server and on the client (which is what you see). If you experience a lot of lag etc... it may throw off your buff time. This is why when you get buffed, exit the program completely and then go back in... You won't see your buff timers, but it is still tracked on the server.
