I see this confusion is several threads, so I'd like to straighten it out. The enhancers mentioned in Blair's post about the CU are NOT the replacement for the current buffs. I can see whay so many people would automatically think that they are, just because of the name. The new enhancers will be made by BEs and are intended to enhance a doctor's ability to heal. In other words, a doctor or medic can heal with no consumables at all (ability based healing) and will heal better by using an enhancer.

Buffs may or may not work the same way, but when you read "enhancer" don't think "buff".

Notice that it's the abilities that are enhanced. I admit, I probably would have been confused by it myself, had it not already been discussed at length on the CU forum.
