Thread: I don't want your crafting
Never was more crafting asked for, least of all for medicinal crafting responsibilities. Between tailor tissues, chef tissues, pets & pet products, (hopefully) cybernetics, and now medicines our crafting role feels washed out.
We really feel like a dumping ground now. Like most professions we have our own list of issues (practically all dealing with creatures and creature crafting), and they have gone completely unaddressed. Furthermore, with the major crafting changes coming our way most likely those concerns will be pushed even further back.
I'd much rather see a Pharmacist profession appear and take over the roles of medicinal crafting. Personally, I'd even sacrafice the additives crafting abilities to that new profession.
I feel bad for the crafting Doctors who have invested a lot of time, money, and soul into their in game jobs. Good luck to you guys.

im going to miss it. I'm just stuck now with decisions. Do I screw all my current customers over so I can grind BE or do I wait and see if bluefrogs will be released after the CU.

Didn't mean to sound harsh there, I actually want to show support for your craft. Here are some of my thoughts and some general sentiments from the BE boards.

Yes, great to see this point of view. I personally think BE is the hardest of the crafting professions, statistically speaking, anyway. I tried it for about 20 minutes, thinking I'd enjoy the level of detail....wow..I was overwhelmed (or maybe I was missing some key points to make it less intimidating).
Not sure what I'll end up doing with my Master Doctor. He wasn't a crafter, primarily because of a lack of good resources, and as my second acct, I didn't put in the huge efforts to try and track them down. I'm thinking of trying something completely different. I liked buffing, and giving the money to my Chef. Don't know that I want to stand back and wait for injured souls to run up to me begging for healing (which I'd happily apply). As I haven't gotten much into PvP, I'm not even sure I know how a Doctor will really work (PvP or PvE).
