So wat's gonna happen to the stock in our vendor if it's not purchased by the time this hits?? no chance of them phasing this out?? Instant freezeover??

Any items on vendors will undergo the same conversion as items in your inventory.

I wonder if I should...
a) sit on my millions and millions of resources and pray they are used in similar post-CU items
-or-
b) start cranking out as many stims and buffs packs as possible and pray they convert to something decent
What are other crafting docs doing? I've erred on the side of safety and cancelled my accounts, I really don't see myself being part of the CURB. But who knows.

Ihave millions of resources too but these are for sub components mostly.
I think BEs or Medics will need the ABEC, ASDS, ALS and ACRDM and our resources will be usefull after CU.

i only crafted for my own demands in the past - but i also have lots of ressources and some stock of packs, which i m not sure what to do
in the last days (since the infos about the CU came out) i started crafting the kind of stuff i thought i will still be needing after the CU - namely cure poison and disease packs - but now i m not sure anymore if they are being useful at all after the CU
:quote:
With the changes to the HAM system we have removed the need for about seventy percent of those medicines.
--- and ---
... their healing capability will be based on the use of Abilities granted as they progress through their profession levels. ... This means that the healing professions will be able to fulfill their role in a group without being tied to the crafting gameplay.
:end quote:
Ok - what else can we do "component-less", beside the already stated rezzing?
Its nice for Docs if they can heal without using packs. But come on, some already compared the new combat system with EQ2 and other fantasy based games - which it will definetly be if Medics can heal without medicine - just by magic. The selfhealing Stimpacks for non-medics also reminds me on Health and Mana - drinks in those games. I hope the SciFi and SWG feeling of the whole game is not ruined by the CU. If i want to play a Fantasy Game i would play WOW or EQ.

I'm cranking out stimBs and almost nothing else right now.
I don't see any point in making more buffpacks since I have enough on my vendor to last several weeks at my normal sales volume.
All other meds simply don't move quickly enough to require a restock before the CU for me.
I'll give it a try after the CU, but I liked running my little med shop and I hope there is still a viable product in the future.
If it is simply cranking out stimBs for the masses, I will likely lose interest quickly.
I don't see the enhancers being a big seller, but I may be wrong about that.

I personally, crafted about 2000 sets of buffs when I heard the news about the CU. So I used about 1/3 of my resources, and now I'm sitting on about 150 Million credits, with millions of units of highest quality resources at my beckon call. I assume that either way I am in the money.
150 Million Credits will be enough to start up another crafting profession (Hopefully BE) and most likely the resources I have will still be useful in BE, and if not, I'll still have 150 Million to fall back on.
