Ok, so lately on my server, every **edit** cantia i go into has stupid ents wit their stupid, "keep us healed and tip us" macros. As a doc this just bugs the hell outa me. The thing that irks me the most, is those ents never once tip me for a buff or a heal, so why shouls ANYONE tip them for heals, especially when they dont even have to do anything cept press one button, and go watch some tv.

i may be the only one who thinks this way, but it bugs the piss outa me.

Please note that these people are not the real entertainers. Non of those that entertained you at release can be met in the cantinas anymore, because they feel the same way you do. Those you met are macrotainers, people who put their bot in the middle of the dancefloor, start their macro and go to work, school or sleep. Yes, this is annoying as hell. Now imagine you had to be in the cantina to do your job, your healing would not work if you go through the door... now that gets annoying fast.

If you want to get rid of the macrotainers and actually have people at the keyboard entertaining you ( maybe just 3 instead of 30, but 3 is all you need ) consider helping all the entertainer classes in their struggle to get those AFK-bots banned from the game. Unattended gameplay should not be allowed.

yes i am a doc and a musician, and let me say, the at the keyboard entertainers feel exactly like you do. well actually, i hate the macro loopers more as a musician then i do as a doc.

well good point guys, i didnt even notice that it started happening wit the mass holo grind, thx for ur input, i'll try and be more ... not pissed... lol

I /ignore all the looped Macro types. I'll heal them for the XP only, I don't tip. However if I have mind wounds that heal I'm more than happy to tip any active entertainers. I'll often ask if there is anyone actually there. Those that reply are the ones I watch and tip and they get priority on heals.

I actually do go to the cantina to unwind and socialise, I don't want to be in a room with 10 macro'd entertainers, how boring.

I'd say most of them are holo grinders atm too. I can't wait till all the Xmas holos are all done and dusted, I personally think it was a stupid thing to do, it has thrown off the Proffessions everywhere with too many ppl more interested in Mastering ASAP than using their skills to have fun and support other players.
