Thread: Enhance D Pack 27/800/9742/89 where did I go wrong?
I am not satisfied w/my Health Enhance D Packs. I did my assembly in a +15 city, 9 points into power (maxed) and final point into ease of use (all greats) used topnotch 14.97 tool, 41.9% station and these are the components:
ABEC = P13C19
ACRDM = P58
ASDS = P63
Reactive Gas = DR 412 OQ 979
Avian Meat = DR 566 OQ 851 PE 967
Resulting in:
Charge 27
Power 800
Duration 9772
Use 89
What went wrong, where is my weak link in the above. Care to share you results and what you had that resulted in the better end product?
was really hoping for a 850 or so power w/around 11,000 duration. So the duration depends directly on the Decay eh? Alright I will see if I can round up some better Avian and Reactive.
As for the +15 I meant I am in as city that is a:
Research Center- 125k credits / week Any experimentation done within a 'Research Center' is enhanced. A 15% bonus to the final result roll is added during the experimentation phase of crafting.
Whatever happened to the: why did they axe that anyway?
Industrial Society- 200k cr / week An 'Industrial Society' gains the bonuses of both the 'Manufacturing Center' and 'Research Center' specializations. Master politicians get this.
Tried a different Avian Meat --- Everything else remained the same.

27/799/10578/90 (this is 1 power less, same charge, still 90 and 13 and 1/2 minutes longer)

didn't intend to make a 90 but like I said I capped at 9 experiment points in power. So I used the extra point to hit the ease of use.
I made a action enhance D and it came out just Like I wanted them all to:
29/850/12260/90
Same components except:
Organtic DR 812 PE 950 OQ 725
Inorgantic DR 874 OQ 996 UT 920
Too bad I can't get the whole set to look like that.

Doesn't experiemnting in ease of use actually lower the effectivness in the process?
I woulda went for charges with the extra points, unless was specifically makeing them for non masters.
purely a guess but i would assume you had a "good success" on at least one point and simply didn't catch it. unless you are paying very close attention that can happen sometimes. but other than the DR, which is why your duration is so low, those resources should be good enough to get the power up their. It would be nice to have a little better OQ on the avian instead of the PE as OQ is 66% of the power, but frankly it should still be good enough due to the extra power in the PE.
I can make buff packs that are all from about 833-850 power med 89-90. I'll put "?" where I dont' recall the exact stat as I am at work and can't verify anything at the moment.

DR on both of these areat least in the 700 range as I won't gather anything less,though I think they are actually in the 800's for the reactive and the 900's for the avian.
I get a pretty good power boost on my packs due to the extremely high OQ on the Gas. Being that it can be a generic reactive gas try and find the highest possible OQ while keeping in mind you really don't want a DR less than 700 if you can help it.
Before I was a master doc and needed packs crafted that were less than 90 med use, an 800 pack was a good result. I got mine from a really good master doc that used prime material. I couldn't touch it with my lack of experimentation points.
I think you're doing everything right. The only thing that may help is getting lucky with the experimenting on it.
