Are there any players around who play doc/ch and how efective a combo is it?

I am going to become a maste doc and will probably complement those skills with either ch or de. Im thinking more towards ch atm simply because I can use my doc skills to buff my pet and can heal it during combat.

So what do you guys think of doc/ch and doc/de?

Actually, they partially nerfed buffing your own pet. You can't call a droid and a pet at the same time anymore, which means you can buff other people's pets, but not your own, when out in the wilderness. You can still buff your pets in a hospital, but the buffs go away when you store the pet, so you have to be on the planet you're hunting on, then run out to your hunting spot with your pet. Kinda a pain in the @ss, since it didn't totally nerf the pet-buff for exp grind, just make it awakward for doctors to solo with pets.

im a master doc and am currently half way up the ch tree

its a very good combo, especially if ur the main healer in the group

ur pet will do the dmg while u heal and if u get aggroed, call ur pet on the aggroed mob to save ur ass

I have been a master doc/master CH for quite some time.

It isa great combo if you have somebody else to team with. Your pets + healing make great tanks (and you can buff and heal your party members). My one problem is I don't deal out much damage, compared to any serious combat class.

My solution to that is having a hunting partner that is a master commando. We are a pretty good double team. I put a buffed pet on something, keep it alive while he burns the heck out of the mob.

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen." - JULIO TORRES
