I posted this on my "10 annoying phrases..." message board but I thought it would be better if I put it as a new topic cuz I think it needs to be addressed.
It would be neat tho, if professions that let us craft more items in accordance with skills will also give us more storage space on our inventory. People that hunt and fight, they only need inventory space for scouting and for weapons. Entertainers dont really need any space at all. Artisans need a lot of space cuz all they do is craft craft craft. Even docs need a lot of space cuz as our medical crafting skill increases, we get more choices in our crafting kit. The skills that increase the number of things that person can craft, should also have a +room in inventory as a skill reward. Creature handles have +room for their pets, we should too! Docs have to carry around all sorts of healing/wound/enhancement packs A,B,C,D, and E and not to mention Rez kits and poison cures etc and OMG RESOURCES galore....I literally need like 10 droids to contain my things! ANd I dont even remember what I put in all of them since droids all look alike so it sux to have to open each one to see what I put in them. And I could leave it in storage at my house but then I Would have to travel back and forth all the time to just pick up ONE damn item. Banks too, we can use banks as storage but then I would have to always look for a bank terminal AND I have to make sure Im on the planet I opened the bank in. More space more space! Pretty please =)
Just a thought....

God I wish things like wound packs cured all wounds rather than 1 per stat, I can live with buff packs per stat, but having 6 damned wound packs is a real pain, just have a Health* Pack that will cure all 3 Health stats and an Action* Pack that cures all 3 Action stats.
I am constantly out of inventory space.
Oh yes, and make Cargo Pockets equippable in the Belt slot or something, I have one I keep my buff packs in but it doesn't reduce their weight, that's a real shame.

true we do, unlike may profs we need to carry so many different things
But the whine factor from others will cause the devs not to do it.
Consolidated wound packs will help that though

Yes i agree, the sheer amount of thing we have to carry as a doctor is quite insane. I assume other crafting professions would have a alrge inventory also, but i doubt they have to carry their entire crafting componets while hunting.
Maybe this should be on the list to be voted as a potential top 5 issue.
I would love to see some sort of medicine pounch that can hold all sort of medicine, and even be searchable by auto inventory searches. Thus able to use medicine with in said pouch/pack with commands.
This will solve a lot of storage issues. I mean i've havent taken of my packback for month!! mainly due to having to organize the 50 items i it, then not to mention always only having like 6 free spaces from all the medicine packs and resourees..

That would solve a lot of problems. That extra 10 can go a long way. They could even extend the cargo pockets to other clothing articles like pocketed shorts and crafters pants.

I'd love more storage space for hauling my med stuff around. In beta inv had 100 slots until they nerfed it. It wouldn't hurt to ease up a little.

I kinda just have my resources at my house .. with the crafting station.. not like you need to carry them around 'cept from when you are crafting
... but more inventory space would have been cool I guess.

Space is a problem everywhere, I find it more a problem in my house than in my pack. With all my meds I have room for 2 sets of buff packs and about 10 stims. It has helped now that I leave all my crafting equipment at my house. Except I need one house for crafting, one house for storage and one house for living.
I try not to use pockets in my pack and Inv since they steal one spot each. Having 10 pockets to organize your inv might nice, but you loose those 10 spaces.
My complaint is that it's not easily distinguishable. It would be really nice if you could rename stuff or if the inventory would be autosorting/arranging. Like in Ultima Online you drop an item in one area of your inventory and it will be in the same spot when you open it up next time. As well, if the strength and stamina wound packs didn't use the same graphics, or the disease was differant from action wound and action buff... that would be easier when glancing through your inventory.
I also just drag the medications to the quickbar for use instead of using the macro commands. I can then put the meds in my backpack and can tell from my quickbar's how many uses I have left.
