Thread: A good Doctor template?

Hi guys,
I have been playing medic for a while, and now I am Master Medic.
I'm still a bit doubting wether I should become a Doctor or Combat Medic.
Let's say I choose Doctor, then I want to go to Master Doctor.
My first question: But what other skills/proffesions are a must, to be a good (the best) doctor?
I thougth of Novice artisan, and go all the way up the Surveying tree,
Novice Scout, and go up the hunting tree,
and Novice Marksman. And take up one ranged weapon. Is this template any good or not?
Secondly which is the best weapon to choose for a doc?
Please help me out!

For a ranged profession, just choose whichever one you like best.Though the weakest of the three would probably be pistoleer, with so many broken specials 
If you want to master the ranged profession along with doctor, then you will only have 18 points left over. I would suggest novice scout, so that you can harvest your own organic resources from creatures you kill, then just buy inorganic resources from other people (as a master doc, money shouldn't be too much of a problem for those resources.)

I'[m Master Doc and working on Master Swordsman. It's so much fun for PVE. I basically buff myself and stay at the Tusken Fort 24/7. Only coming in to heal bf and buy new armor. (Those Tuskens chew through 74% kinetic ubese like buzzsaws). Plus the loots I get from Tuskens are pretty good, and finance the buff packs I buy when I'm not making any. I swear I havent had as much fun in this game as doing Swordsman.

Personally... I'd say TKA/Master doc/novice scout.
I know, that combo has been done to death... It's fun tho. I got a bad case of red-line-envy watching a couple of TKMs duel one day and went TKA. Then I realised I could help my lady love out more when we hunt if I was a doc than I could as a musician.
Plus I'm a huge fan of kung fu movies about Wong Fei Hong. /shrug

I'm TKA/Doc/Scout.
My alt is merchant/artisan/wannabe chef.
TKA/Doc is awesome for PvE.

Master Doctor/Blademaster and novice scout...for PVE...go anywhere, do anything...within reason of course and the fun hasn't stopped yet

I consider myself to be very self sufficient. I'm a Master Doctor, Artisan 0-0-0-3, Scout 4-0-2-0, Marksman 0-4-0-1, and Pistoleer 0-0-4-0. Pistols give you a wide range of attack types (energy, heat, acid, etc...). The only time I needto interact with others is to heal mind wounds and BF. I don't do PvP, just PvE and I can gather all my own resources with this template.
