Thread: Combat Balance, a easy resolution for Doc Buffs

Does anyone know if the following idea has been floated at all? It could be the quickest solution to the Buff contraversy.


Change Doc Buffs to be like the Poison and Disease resists. Change Buffs so you must experiment on the duration line. Today as you experiment on effectiveness, the duration goes up on its own. Change buffs so the duration line is separate. This way if you max power like you do today, the duration will be significantly less. In the case of resists, you can have higher resists, with short duration or lower resists with longer duration. Thoughts?

Hmm... that sounds like it would be a good idea, people can still have those crazy 2K+ Buffs that they like so much, but at the same time, it keeps them within control as they don't last for hours upon hours.... I like the sound of that idea personally.

Then people would simply have to return to the doctors three times as often, this would only make the already absurd prices on various creature resource skyrocket.
