The voices, they wont go away. From the moment I log on, until the moment I log offthey keep talking. I try to run away, to the deepest darkest corner of space.....yet the voices find me. "will you buff me doc", "Hey doc I need a buff", "Docster how about a buff on the house". Then if I say ok and give them a price it is always..."well my friend is a doc and hewould buff me for half that, or for free."!!! SOMEONE MAKE THE VOICES STOP!!!!

generally i tell them this, the voices that is.....

" So if you would like me to stop what im doing, remove my armour eat some bivoli, drink some brandy and posibly havala then take the time to get out my droid and sit and buff you i can and i can do it well too, however for that amount of inconvinence it aint gonna be cheap. and go on to tell them i want either 50 or 100k to do it."

not that i need the money but this generally has them fleeing for the starport.

I have had times iwas offered 50k to come to them and buff them. I get there and I am told "i'll have it later" , "i was only kidding" type stuff. I had one guy I buffed go out and get killed, then send me a tell "that buff didnt last 3 hours! I want a refund" some people

It’s quite simple. Buffs are desirable. Only doctors can buff. If you where a doctor tag people are going to ask you for buffs!

If you don't want people to ask you for buffs, don't wear a doctor tag, or better yet choose a different profession. But please, please, please stop whining about it!

hmmm if you notice i wasnt wining, i was meerly telling the good folk of this forum of my experience, which i might add is a slighlty more constructive addition to this thread than the one you have submitted.

The quickest way to get the voices to stop is with your CANCEL ACCOUNT button. You're a Doc. Deal with it and stop whining.

ok i am sorry i dont have the godlike patience that you all do. So what you are saying is that if someone sends you a tell asking you for a buff for 5k, and they were 3 planet hops awayyou would drop whatever you were doing atm and go do it. If you say yes to that i would say one thing

Please don’t take our comments, at least mine, personal. But whining about people wanting buffs is annoying. You’re post had no point other than to complain about a situation none of us doctors can change, what’s the point?

Complaining that people bugging you for buffs is like being the only kid with a ball and bat, complaining that the other kids want you to come out and play ball.

Strategies for dealing with unwanted requests for buffs have been discussed in detail. I would even support a new post readdressing the subject. But just whining about it is annoying and adds to the negative image of doctors as greedy butt heads.

The best part for me was when I guy kept spamming me with tells saying I ripped him off because I missed three stats(Mind, Focus, and Willpower). I tried to explain to him that only Dancers and Musicians can do that, but after he kept going, and then asked me to give him a Swoop and 50kfor ripping him off, it ended up leading to a '/addignore'.
