Thread: Can someone verify this for me please(concerning factories)
I was always under the impression that, factoy crates do not work in factories, or at least almost never work in factories. I'm not missing anything am I? And also, if I was mistaken on that, would it be possible to create a crate of 50 stim C's? I was under the impression that this wasn't possible as well. I had to ask, because aparantly, someone else on my server(Bloodfin) is able to sell crates of stim C, containing 50 units. Can someone please verify that I'm not missing anything. Thanks,

In my experience, factories will not take items out of crates as input ingredients. You have to do it manually -i.e., pop the bio effects controller out of the crate in your inventory and then dragthe controllerto the input hopper. I haven't tried using a crate directly as input for the last couple of days so it is possible that it has changed.
However, Factories will create items in crates however so it is possible to create a crate of 50 stimCs if you are willing to drag the single components for 50 StimCs into the input ingredient hopper.

Yes you can use crates in the input resource area but it will bug from time to time and you end up manually doing it.
I have never made C's in my factory but I do know you can make crates of d's.
See my research and conclusions about this at:

acutally you can make 50 stim Cs loading by hand the ingredient hopper onlu holds 100 items so u can make 32 stim Cs at 1 time
only 24 stim Ds at a time
19 stim Es at a time...
You can keep a factory crate in an output hopper, load more components in, and start crafting again, and it will add the finished product to the same crate. I have done this multiple times, I have a crate of 50 Stim D's to prove it. ![]()
