I personally think it a problem. Sure, they pay their money like everyone else, but it is not even funny. It annoys me when I try to heal and all I see flying accross my text are people who are dueling. It is very rude...take it outside.

CH's, leave your pets in the bag. Very annoying when trying to target someone who really does need healed.

All I can think of right now. Those people that do these kinds of things while I am on call usually get pushed back to the end of the line.

Anyone fighting in the med center when I'm there. Doesn't get any attention from me, other than my asking them to take it outside.

Pets, on the other hand, I don't mind at all. Especially if the pets are wounded, as for most medics those big HAM bars could mean a LOT of XP if somebody wanted to heal it.

Just personal taste, though.

Fighting NO! Pets, ok.

As long as the pet doesn't sit on me i'm okay with them.

As for fighting in the Med center....Take it ouside. I just fixed some of you up...if you die you're at the back of the line bud.

When people start shooting off blaster I make it a point to let them know that fighting in the med center frightens the patients and makes the staff (ie, me) very cranky.

My kingdom for the ability to /suture the offending parties to each other.

Pets, I don't mind unless I'm forced to keep moving around to target the people who need healing. If that's the case, take Fluffy for a walk outside.

From an RP stance in terms of factional war it's understable. Turning hospitals into no-fire zones is really exploitable idea. People would start fights and then just run in there and hide if they were losing. Personally if I was going to start a PvP fight I'd attempt to lure my target outside to a more appropriate arena (also someplace where I could get some help, I'm a Medic not a fighter!). But I won't call anyone who does it a 'griefer,' just recognize that they fight dirty in a RP sense.

As far as lag goes, it's obnoxious to duel in the hospital while you're bored - and kind of silly RP wise. When was the last time you had a wrestling match to pass the time waiting in line at the ER? Now, I love pets and visiting with them, there are some beautiful creatures out there - but handlers have to respect that they cause huge lag! I make my friend put away his flappy bird in town because he causes my FPS to drop in half.

As far as fighting goes, it makes perfect realistic sense, but so does having the medical staff tell you to go elsewhere for both combat and treatment. If someone starts a fight in the med center I tell them to leave.

Concerning pets I'm a little more ambivalent. Certain pets can be a nice addition to any setting, and some are, as has been pointed out, really beautiful. Basically, if the pet fits in the room without crowding anyone or sticking through the ceiling, I don't mind. But I draw the line at banthas. They're dirty.

I shaved someone's Bantha with a pair of hospital clippers the other day

Know what we really need is a 'shrink' effect for pets like EQ had where you could reduce the size of your pet. It's not very realistic, it should definitely drop upon engagement in combat, and it's kinda silly...but it would make CHs a LOT more city-friendly!

Fighting in the hospital - I refuse to heal either party of the duel, if it's duels. Factional fights by declared members, couldn't care less as at this time they won't be getting healed by me anyhow

Pets in the hospital - pain in the but to target people who actually need healing. I politely ask that they be put away.

Couldn't care less in the slightest.
