Please read and help nail this bug.

In the final Stim B (or any other Stimpack) schematic, Potential Energy (PE) contributes 28% to quality and Unit Toughness (UT) contributes 14%. I had a Fiberplast with 996 OQ and 950 UT, and a Petrochem with 995 OQ and 950 PE. Now, the petrochem in the inorganic slot should create a better Stim if I use the same Organic in the Organic slot. The OPPOSITE is true. I create a better Stim with the Fiberplast instead of the Petrochem.

This is also true for the Chemical Release. A high UT chemical (fiberplast) will create a better CRD instead ofa high PE chemical (petrochem).

Can you all check whether this is true for you, and whether this is also true for the Organic element - whether using a high UT organic (hard wood) makes better final products than a high PE organic.

Were you using factory made exact components like liquid suspensions and the others to test this? Quality of subcomponents in stim b's and up does make a difference on the finished product and if there were variations to the subcomponents it would show up as making a different quality of stim

To my understanding, there is a minor bug currently if an item doesn't have one of the important statistics. For example, I don't think fiberplast has a PE value. Instead of treating it like 0, the system nulls it out (removes it from the equation all together). This make the OQ the only important thing if you are using something that doesn't have PE.

from what i have tested i think some subs have an affinity to certain resources.the only connection i can even remotely notice is that if you look at the top tier of each med and see how they relate back to the lower versions. the other thing is to test out diff resources and how they affect acomponent. ie SDM come out better if you use metal for the inorganic, CRDM always came out better with fiberplast, and BEC seem to come out better with meat from what i have seen.

Yes, I was using factory-made items. But more importantly, this is ALSO THE CASE FOR THE SUBCOMPONENTS THEMSELVES. The UT value contributes more to the subcomponents than the PE value!!!!

Go try it out.
