Thread: Anyone tested to see the best item to grind for exp?
Just before i check all my items to see what's best, anyone done this already?
i'f i'm being forced to grind i want to be effective.
Well i'm grinding some things for use, but i have a ton of junk materials i really wouldn't put in a stim pack ![]()
i guess i'll just grind a bunch of bio's or something.
Stim Bs are good for grinding. You can craft them anywhere. It has been a couple weeks but I believe a stim B plus the subcomponents gives 202 xp. A stim C only gives 208. I've lost my scratch paper with the exact numbers.
I used any resources I could get to grind the xp. I ended up selling the stim Bs almost as fast as I could place them on the market. So, grind away and actually make a litte cash. ![]()
Assumptions...
1) You are manually crafting.
2) This is per tool being used, if the tools are in constant operation.
3) I am not on crack and my numbers are correct.

It is very easy to establish a Rhythm for crafting only one item for an extended period of time, plus failures don't screw you over as much. Since you aren't crafting meds for the field, you can use any sort of item that fits the slot and not worry about medical effectiveness. You also don't need to go through experimentation steps for the same reason.
The fastest item to grind on should be Advanced Infection Amplifiers since they consume 56 resource units in a single combine. I can't actually confirm this since I haven't been able to find Eleton Reactive Gas...but since the xp per combine is mostly a function of number of resources used it makes sense.
The limiting time factor is not the time it takes a kit to produce an item but the time it takes you to click thru the crafting wizard screens...
