Thread: About healing mind damage (I know you don't want to see this)
I have a suggestion for healing mind damage in cantinas. It's not using "mind stims" or anything like that. It does, however, apply to those in the entertainer fields (as they are the only ones able to heal it).
Like the entertainer's ability to heal mind wounds, the entertainers should be able to heal mind damage in small chunks at the same time as wounds are healed. For example, when a musician or dancer flourishes, they should heal the damage and wounds at the same time.
The reason things like mind stims would not work is the following:
Consider the fact that places like Anchorhead, where there is no cantina or medical center but only a tavern that works as both, would see an unfair balance to a big heal to mind for doctors healing their patients. Places where there is both a medical center and cantina, the doctors healing patients can't get those heals. This creates the unfair balance of the doctor's healing abilities.
On the other hand, if entertainers only heal small amounts(I have no idea how much) every time they heal wounds (around 5 seconds or so). This would help significantly for the people with mind damage listening to music. This would also boost the entertainment healing xp gained when no one with wounds are around. However, the experience gained should follow the medic levels of 25% of damage healed = xp gained.
This would greatly help entertainers gain their healing xp, and help the doctors in taverns heal just a little bit more often.
I know I don't read or post very often. I probably wont even check for a reply any time soon. I just wanted to get my idea out there.

How would this really help? Honestly, even if you have small mind wound (say 30 points), sitting in the cantina long enough to heal those 30 points of wounds is going to take long enough to fill your mind bar with any damage that you may have taken.
The real issue with mind damage is healing it in the field - while in combat. That's when you're in desparate need of a mind heal, not while you're sitting in the cantina.
