Hi,

I do not know how much it costs to revive someone so that is why I am asking. I just am looking for the cost of 1 revive. What would that be?

...Not how much it would be worth to me to be revived by someone...

As long as you have a factory Revive packs are rather simple and cheap to make.....If you are buying them from someone I am not sure you could get just one. I have seen cost differ on those dramatically so just talk to a Dr and see for yourself. It is a great skill to have.

I used to charge 330 credits per use on my Resus Packs. That was because Docs usually charged 1k per rezz and I only wanted 1/3 of that. That is if they did not use them on their own friends.

Now I charge 150 credits per use. Most of mine come out 26 charges so I would charge 3,900 for the pack.

I think tipping a doc 1k when they revive you is the right thing to do.

Enhance and revive packs seem to be expensive and hard to come by. Prices vary. I personally decided to never sell buff packs because i can make a boat load using them myself.

The resus kit is extremely cheap, either 8cr a res (if you roll your own) or around 200cr a res if you buy the kit. I frequently get 1k tips from people I rez, though I've never asked for money for it. It does make a nice 'thank you!' card

It's true that a resuscitation kit isn't that expensive, but the fact that they need to be made and used by people that are nearly masters in a profession should be worth something. In many cases, you pay for the knowledge of how to perform a service moreso than the service, itself.

Strange, the question appears to be asking how much it costs you to rez someone, not how much someone should pay you to rez them.

Well, if you really wanted an answer to the original question. Here's the answer.

It depends.

It depends on a number of things. First of all, did you craft the resuscitation pack yourself? If so, how did you get the resources? Did you sample them by hand? If yes, then the answer is 0 - it cost you absolutely nothing - 0 credits to make that item.

But wait. This schematic requires 3 identical liquid suspensions so there is no way to make this without some cost incurred unless someone gave you 3 identical liquid suspensions for free - heck, even if they gave you a factory for free, you'd have to pay maintenance to make them.

So, what if you bought all of the resources? Well, let's say 3 credits per unit of resources, that would be 240 credits (for a pack with about 12-15 charges) and, of course, the factory issue comes up.

Okay, so let's say that you simply buy all of the subcomponents for 300 credits and added the last 32 units of resources yourself? Well, then your cost would be 300 credits.

But what if you wanted to put and advanced biological controller in there to get an extra 10 charges on your pack? Well, that changes the price, as well, doesn't it?

It's impossible to answer without more information. For me, it probably costs about 55 credits to make one - but that's because I already have factories and heavy harvesters and thousands of units of resources sitting around. So, if you count the cost for those, I guess it would be about 3 million credits.

I dont buff for money, I dont rez for cash.

If I feel like, if my group doesnt need me. i will do it.

If you want me to run way out somewhere and rez you, odds are I wont do it. People dont understand I am in a group and not a personal servant of some jackass who dies every 5 minutes.

That said..../bank 10k per rez at krayt graveyard on giving free rez's.

hmm so ive read, 30credits, 200credits 1,000credits, 10,000credits, 3millionscredits....heh. I guess no one really knows. Thanks for trying to answer. Looks like im tipping the correct amount then. I know some of those figures some gave were not realistic.

It costs 1,000 credits to clone and you can die and come back there as much as you want. Its about a 10 minute run + or - to anywhere you would probably need to get back to.

I dont think anything under 1,000credits would be fair to the dr for reviving you and saveing you all that trouble of running back to the group but anything over 5,000credits wouldnt be fair to the dead guy. It would be cheeper to run back. Not everyone is rich.

Also, I thought that to revive you only needed master medic and novice dr with 0/4/0/0, I think that is in the right place. You could just buy your own rezs. I was thinking about doing that to revive ppl in my group.

The question isn't how much money went into making the kit, but how much down time the doc saved you. Tip accordingly.
