I'm just curious to know. =)

For me, it's a matter of pulling out my 2-1B, meditating in front of it for about 5 seconds (novice TK), using a '/emote does a prayer to the buff gods', cleansing myself by putting on my clean white buffing clothes, and then recharging the droid.

And ladies and gents, it works. Just yesterday, I buffed 4 people in a row (!) for all 6 stats above 3k using 848-base packs. Call it luck, call it a random number.. I call it faith. Faith in my droid, my pure clothes, and the buff gods.

4 people in a row for all 6 stats over 3k?

OMFG - I used to do this too!!

Seriously I thought it was great fun and it gave the customer something to chuckle about. Also I /whap my driod when the buff isn't very good - and I swear to you (ask Ingor'steen) it used to ALWAYS work - atleast with him. Anyhow, hitting the driod isn't working anymore,I think she's mad at me. Thanks to this post I am returning to the/chant "Oh Buff Gods, hear my prayer, GIVE ME THE POWER!!" - followed by me shouting"Shazam!" - honestly I get a laugh out of it and sometimes those gods do answer the call.

Here's my ritual:

1. Pull out the med droid


2. CTRL-F3 to switch to my Buffing toolbar


3. /diagnose to check wounds and BF (send them to cantina is BF is too high)


4. Charge Droid


5. Clean up all wounds (part of my service)


6. Wait for mind to regenerate fully


7. Buff (start with sub stats first and do Health and Action last)

I always wear my BE Enhanced clothing, the hard part is chosing which droid to use. I have 3 with 110 Med Modules.

i just make sure i have the buffs on hand..

I just make sure that my pink headwrap is put on properly. Then i call upon the mighty Thor to smite my enemies with his mighty thunderhammer by yelling "CHONK TELL LOOGER?" 3 times.

Erm I target the person and click on my healenhance macro 6 times, lol.

I was going to post a new topic related to this subject but I'll just post here. There have been some strange and almost spooky things I have seen with doctor buffs since my RL friend that plays hit master doc last week. Obviously there are things like battle fatigue that are pretty much known to affect buff values, but these two things I don't think can really be explained by known algorithms of the game.

1. The Battery Myth - Have found that a set of buffs given immediately after charging the surgical droid are better than a set given without charging the droid. And I'm not talking about using a battery when the droid needs to be charged, I'm talking about just feeding it one regardless and the set of buffs directly afterwards are always better than the ones given without charging the droid.

2. The 4th Buff Myth - Someone told him about this while he was buffing in Coronet and after testing it, the 4th buff myth has proved to be true. It seems the the 4th buff in a set is the best one 9 out of 10 times. Lots of times it will be real obvious with the 4th one being around 3000 or higherand no other buffs being more than 2400.

Test these for yourself, The first few times I thought it was just a coincidence, but after watching it happen multiple times in a row and then have a very often occurence over the last week that my friend has been master doc, it's more than coincidence.

This can be attributed to the fact that the 4th buff is often the action buff, and action buff packs are often more powerful than the other 5.

Strangest thing happened to today....

I had just been killed about 10 times and my BF was around 280

A friend asked for buffs and I did .... 4 stats over 3.1k the other 2 above 2.7 paks were 905 power 12220 duration and I didnt have my buffing cloths with me.

So this has blown my entire ritual.

My ritual goes as follows.

Heal myself of all wounds and check my own BF.

Sit down call driod ( Beaker R-2 110% med )

Meditate power boost

/diagnose person

heal person

Charge driod

Open inventory I dont use the radial

Then I do the sub stats first starting with str and ending in stamina then the health and action

I hold my cursor over the enhance pak for a few secs each buff and semi pray for a good one.....

I have gone the quick route and to be honest I can tell the difference if I take my time. Usually by about 1k per enhance.
