Thread: Janta hunting is really starting to peeve me .....

So I go to the cave , which I have renamed the waypoint to as " Stingy Jantas " and I completly and utterly destroy everything in it from top to bottom . Did this 5 times and got some hide and plenty of stone knives . Stone knives !!! God damn you !
Then , I decided that I was all through with that dumb cave . So , my next brainstorm and it is a good one I must admit ..... go overt and whip out the old At-St and see if I can get some Janta MISSIONS . Hrrrrm voila ! It worked , a never-ending stream of Jantas .
Done these SELF EDIT missions over and over and over spent probablly over 20 hours doing them all told over several days .
Nothing . Nada . Not one flipping jar of Janta blood .
Guys , please tell me . What are you doing to get a hold of this stuff ????? Is there anything I'm not doing that I should start doing ? I figure kill as many Janta's as possible and loot them dry would do the trick but apparently not . Getting really REALLY tired of grinding out these lame boring missions too .
Any pointers ? Tips ? For the love of GOD share and I will be thankful .

I have HEARD that the best chance is from wild janta not mission or cave ones. I have yet toexperiancethis myself yet though.

I feel your pain.
I have done most likely in exess of 150 missions with no blodd at all, granted i have made a ton of money, but no blood 
Maybe the wild ones will work, but they are far and few in between.

I had 7 jars lastnight off of mission jantas....these r the only type ive done and tbh this is me 1st score of blood.
Now to find out if the buggers anygood

I did Janta missions solidly for a week and got 6 jars off 1 Janta.
I needed the money anyway

Janta are on endor? Or Dantooine? I've seen this blood on trade forums and shouts in Lagonet, but didn't really know where to get it from...Being a 1 week old doc

To be honest its frustrated me as well. I'm not able to do the cave yet (fighting skills are not up to par), but there is a static spawn of 3 janta near our town. I've hunted them to no end. Be happy you got stone knives!! lol... best I've seen since probably pub 6 was data disks... Question is, how the hect did a janta get a data disk? or better yet why the heck would he keep it?
At any rate, i've killed hundreds of these... every time I log in I head there first... nothing.. nadda... zip.
Its somwhat disheartening. I mean lets face it, Janta blood puts non-master docs into the ring for the buff trade as well as making our mastercrafts (to use the l33t term) super uber. I dont personally think that it should be common, but at LEAST drop occasionally.
I'm wondering if its a per server thing, since some are saying they can get it and others cant?!? I'm on Flurry, what about your guys? Any Flury docs still finding this stuff?

Me and a few other guildies went to Dant the other night and did 12 Janta misstion. We were slightly disappointed to not even see one blood drop. I was able to loot 7 Heavy Leather segs though, so not all bad.

I shouldn't post here because you guys will hate me. I live in dantooine and it is Janta and Mokk central in our back yard, I have a sign setup telling people I pay 5k for each jar. And like tons of grinders come to our town to grind professions who are clueless of the use of a janta blodd, I get about 30 jars a week , so i would reccomend moving to dant, hehe.

In3 weeks of doing janta missions I've gotten 5 jars of blood. In the last 2 days all I've gotten from them are 2 locked conainers, 3 hide, and countless staffs and stone knives. 
Of course, In that time I've also made over 4 million

I've cleared the cave half a dozen times and got 1 3 jar drop and 1 2 jar drop, so they do drop the things, I just wish the cave respawned faster.

Janta blood does drop in the cave but I've collected most of my blood from Janta missions. They are the 20k+ Janta missions on the terminal so you will need a small group or an at-st if you have one. On the average I am able to loot either blood or the heavy leather every 10 missions or so, but maybe I am just lucky. I also find these missions easier to handle because it seems the only people that drop loot in the cave is the last 2 Jantas at the bottom of the cave. I'd rather take on the 3 or 4 Janta's on the missions than the 20 or so in caveand that Janta rockshaper, plus if I dont get any blood that run that 20k payout makes it not as bad.

Ok good to see I'm not doing something wrong here , guess it's just very rare to find this stuff . Thanks for the info all and peace .... see ya in the loony bin
