saw a doctor in mos eisley buffing with his homemade packs for 1200.
thought poor guy. master doc and 1200 point buffs.
so run off to my bank to collect a doctor robe +25 WT, give him a bivoli to sample as well
I then go and get my old mu89/90 meds from around 8 months ago. only 800 str, but for free.
Anyway , ibe done my good deed for the decade, so whatch out world

Funny thing is, this guy was using crap resources so he could buff noobs in mos eisley for xp, then go back to the village and grind FS tree some more.... u did a nice deed but u probably got robbed :0)
So cynical and pessimistic... it's most likely true, but still - you could of let the guy think he'd done a good deed.

LOL, not cynical or pessimistic, i see myself as a realist, and those who know me know why i take the outlook of the worst possible scenario is probably the truth.
Sides, everyone knows 2 day old dr's are already millionairs, right?

I feel bad sometimes when I see people trying to get by in this game.....
Just cant compete with the 2400+ 3.5 hr buffs out there now.....

Im sure the doctors will get the short end of the stick again when revamp comes and the buffs get nerfed.

THREAD HIJACKING IN PROGRESS!!!!!
Actually, I don't think the buff nurf will change things a whole lot from a Doc's standpoint for the following reasons:
1. Docs will still be the only class that can do long term stat buffs.
2. The buffs will still require the same amount of resourcesand the same amount of time to create so therefore I don't see how the price will change all that much per buff set. They are not reducing harvester maintenance and power requirements, they are not reducing the time it takes to make the buffs, sothe overall cost of making good buffs will not change.
3. Supply and demand usually sets prices, and even though the statsand effective time will probably be reduced, there will still be a large number of folks who want buffs and a limited number of docs buffing with max stat buffs regardless of what those max stats actually are. Small supply plus large demand means docs will still basically be able to charge whatever they want for the buffs.
The folks that will actually get hurt in this will be the fighters, not the docs.....so I say bring on the nurf!

It's nice to see folks willing to help others out regardless of the actual outcome. Selfless acts like this should be appreciated for the gesture they are and for what they say about the person making it.
