Hi all, I am fairly new and not Doctor master yet but have been working on experimenting a bit to see how it goes. I have one general question please. I am finding that frequently when I do all I can do in the experimenting stage that I have experimentation points left over (nowhere to put them). This implies to me that I am doing something wrong or not optimizing some aspect of all this but right now I have no clue where to look to rectify this. Can someone please help? For example, am I using materials that are too high quality for my current experimentation level? Or, is this just normal in experimenting (thus I should just not worry about it)? If it is not normal, can you point me to the most likely areas I need to look to improve so I don't waste experimentation points? I thank you in advance for your advice.

This happens frequently. How much experimenting you can do is based on the stats of your resources. It's nothing to worry about. On items that only have one experimentation line, this will almost always happen.

like the above poster stated. Having left over points is all about the resources you use. Less desirable resources will almost always cap your experimentation with points left over cuz, well it just cannot be bettered any further. Dont worry about it. Some things will cap and others you will wish you had more points to keep going.

simply put, you've reached the potential of your resources before your potential as a crafter. you can do more but that's just as good as they get.
