Thread: All about the ABEC's?

Oooops, hit the button to fast..
Anyways, i have master doc that is +25 exp and +20 assembly and have recently started crafting my own buffs. I was curious if anyways had good insight on how important the abec's are in the final buff pack or really what a good number is to shot for. i have read the thread on crafting and I see it suggests putting your experimentation into charges first and then power.. i tried both way and this is what i noticed..
exoerimentation into charges would give me about 883 power final pack with 31 charges at about 3.5 hours
now when did power first i got like 911 power 25 charges for only 3 hours?
so i can deffinantly see the differance between the power to charges but lost the 30 minutes on the timer?
wondering what really is a good stat to get on these thing to make a nice happy medium, so, what do you build and what do they do for you?

your ABEC has absolutely NO effect on the Duration of your Buff. if you got 30 mins less on duration between the two, you used different avian/gas when experimenting. DR on those effect the Duration.
general consensus IS to go charges, then power. For every point in power you gain on your ABEC, it "should" effect the power of your enhace pack at a 1:1 ratio.. and in the long run, youre better off with 6 more uses out of a pack then a puny 50 points or soin the HAM bar if you went more power over more charges.
personally I make 23c/18p Abec's unless Im purposely trying to bring the power of my back above 947

the guy above is right but I have a hard time believing in an ABEC that is 23/18 being experimented for charges. I get a 23/18 when I'm experimenting for power and if I were to go charges, then about a 16/22

oh I promise you I make these all the time. They take two amazing sucesses in a row, first fill the whole bar for charges, amazing, then fill the whole bar for power, amazing. and the result is the 23Charge / 18Power ABEC
you can hop on Eclipse and send me a tell.. Id be happy to show you some. Eclipse has some tasty Lok WW and Tat Fiber.

I have always written the ABEC stats backwards to how they appear on the window, charges then power. You write them as I do - I set a bad example.

thats why I always put the "c" and the "p" after the numbers.. most of the time it clears up the confusion

ah, gotcha. I was thinkin of 23power/18 charge. that's what I generally make but yea. you could swap em easy enough.

sorry for the confusion
think the best ABEC that was done for power was 26 P / 17 C IIRC. could be wrong on the charges but the power I know is correct. Maybe you remember Datto?
