just a quick question! how do u get to a 12 point doc...yes i know it requires clothing attachments but they dont stack do they? so youre talking +2,+3 tapes...all i ever seem to get are +1
...so basically if ive got a shirt with 4 sockets on it i can put a +1 med experiment tape in it and thats it? i cant go +1 +1 +1 +1 =+4 medical experimentation shirt?...if you get what i mean!!!

That's correct ... you cannot stack them within the same piece of clothing. If all you are getting are a bunch of +1's, then you'll have a hard time getting to +20. If you get the Medical crafting apron, you'll get +5 from that. Note that the the apron occupies the jacket (or chest armor) slot, so if you do manage to find a good tape, make sure you don't put it in a jacket.

where can 1 find these skill tapes??? or a crafting apron for that matter.... i been on the look out for 1 for a WILE now...!

The tapes are random loot drops. As such, they are not easily found. The crafter's aprons can only be made by master Tailors using a schematic that is a reward from Jabba's themepark. The doc's crafting apron is only one of 4 crafting aprons. There are alos chef's, architect's and tailor's aprons, so make sure you look at the modifiers before you buy one.

No, you would end up with +4.

You can use7 tapes plus the apron, unless you're a trandoshan or wookiee, but using a bandolier means you have to take off your pack.
Edit: Should have said 7, not 6.

Im human and i use 6 tapes plus the apron,,you get boots,pants,belt,shirt,gloves,hat,apron 7 pieces total for humans available to you.

You can also put a tape in a bandolier, but it's the same clothing slot as a pack. Humans, Zabraks, Twi'leks,Mon Cals, Bothans and Rodianshave a total of 8 slots for clothing items:
Shirt
Pants
Footwear
Headwear
Gloves
Jacket (apron)
Belt
Bandolier/Pack

The best you can possibly do is get +15 in 5 tapes or less. This is for wearing some sort of "headgear", shirt, gloves, pants and shoes. You CANNOT put tapes together in one piece of clothing and you CANNOT put any tapes in the Doc's Crafting Apron [approx 500k, depends on server, gives +5 exp and assem].
For example, I have:
+9 in a Shirt
+4 in pants
+1 in boots
+1 in gloves
+5 for the Crafting Apron
This all is +20 even, if I had needed I could have gotten one more tape and used a Twi'lek crest or the such to put it in to get to +20. Bottom line, you MUST get +15 in 5 tapes or less in order to become a 12 pt'r.

Where are all of you getting these tapes to put in the clothing pockets?? I am on the Ahazi server and i can not find any medical experimentation tapes anywhere, regardless of +1 or +2. Please let me know where i can find them if anyone knows. I currently have a +5 doc apron but thats about it. Looking a long time now no success. Also how are you guys getting 20+ charges on ur buffs. A typical buff pack for me is 852 pw 92 med use and only 19-21 uses. I use ADV Chemical at 62....ADBEC 24-11......ADV Solid 66....Help Help
