Thread: Med Use BE Clothing

I've been Master Doc for a long, long time, so I've never been concerned about my med use ability. I've got a pair of old BE pantsthat are +25 wound treatment, +25 injury treatment, and finally +25 med use.
Idecided for kicks (so that I could pick up Novice Scout) that I would drop Master Doc and a few boxes in the Med Use line, because with my pants, I could go as low as 4424. My med use would be 70, but with the +25 pants, that gets me back to 95.
Imagine my disappointment when I whip out the buff packs, and am informed that I don't have enough skill to use them. Grrrr.... In my skills window, it clearly shows med use as +70 (+95), telling me that the pants are equipped, and should in theory be working.
I don't think there's a way to "solve" this problem, but for my own knowledge, are the med use modifiers broken? Any ideas?

Med use used to be listed as a stat on the same BE tissues that grant injury/wound treatment bonuses. They never worked and were removed shortly after the patch thatfixed the BE clothing tissues. Old clothes, made before the med use bonus was removed will still show it.
As for "solving" your problem, med use and CM use bonuses were intentionally disabled VERY early in the game. The only way to have the med use skill level you need, is to invest the skill points.
