I like to study people, love to watch their reactions to different situations, and see how they respond to the unexpected. I've found that SWG is a great place to see people when most of their inhabitions aren't held in check by reality.
Whats that have to do with the Doc forum? Well...
Now, on my server, AFK buffing docs has decsended like locusts in Egypt. Not that is bad thing, but still its a fact. After dropping doc to go total combat, my real life girlfriend picked up doc to help me, and my guild out. Well, she let me play with her character for a bit the other night, and I decided to see what would happen if I used the new "Advanced" macro system SOE put in place.
Now, I started her character spamming the old buff info, but used a line saying "Using Macrosystem 2.0" Where the fun begins in, when people come up and start interacting with the buff bot. I'd send a tell saying "CHECKING BANK TIP EMAIL. PLEASE WAIT" For the most part, that was ok, because people would pay the money. When someone sent a bank tip of one credit, after that line I spammed "INSUFFICENT FUNDS IN TIP. PLEASE TIP PROPER AMMOUNT FOR BUFFING TO BEGIN". The results were classic, the buffee went ape, and left the "bot"
The best reactions were the little boys making comments on the looks and whatnot of my girlfriend's toon. I'd spam out "MACROSYSTEM DETECTS INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR. BUFFING WILL CEASE NOW." When they'd start cursing and using the "hit" and "Slam" emotes, I'd spam "CONATCTING CUSTOMER SERVICE NOW. ON" then I'd use their names.
It was an interesting way to spend several hours, I'd recommend trying it to see the reactions of people.
But then again, I'm odd like that.

OMG that is some seriously funny stuff! 5*'s for sure!
I did some thing once where I had a friend yell out that I was buffing (you know the usual, stats etc). He then said the prices: Imps were 15k, rebels were 25k, and neutrals were 30k because they couldnt pick a side. I wasnt afk, so i got to deal with the full spectrum of reactions. Imps were gathered and cheering, most of the rebels were swearing and arguing with me, and neutrals didnt seem to care (go figure..)
I didnt expect anyone to actually pay the 25k, but 2 rebels did. Ifa rebel responded creatively instead of just getting p!ssy i buffed them for free. Whats funny is that the rebels thought i was kidding or didnt read the spam, because I ended up tipping back 15k to quite a few.
When they asked why I didnt want their money I told them as a doc I needed entertainment more than credits, and they were happy to oblige. Hehe, good times
